Good interview, but his continuity comments somewhat worry me. I just hope characters aren't totally misrepresented here for the sake of storytelling, like in some other publisher's recent event.
Oh, and he acknowledged Wally West. Finally, someone did. Although, with the hesitant way he confirmed his presence, I'm getting the impression that it may just be a flashback or something along those lines. Not going to get my hopes up just yet.

On continuity: I have a feeling he's going to play a bit fast and loose, but generally use what would be considered the "traditional" version of a character, even if that means ignoring a few shifts that have occurred here and there.
Which, given that this follows the reality-changing events of Infinite Crisis and 52, is a perfectly viable option.

I don't recall an image event lately?
Mind you, I do seem to recall Maxwell Lord wasn't ALWAYS evil.
Pot calling kettle black anyone?

Well, Max was a corrupt corporate mastermind who set up fake threats for his team to defeat and thusly earn him millions, a la Dick Cheney. Lord may not have been Dr. Doom level evil but he was never particularly good, much less a hero.

Is Dini dropping Detective for Countdown? I didn't see any mention in the interview.
