Which Manga volume starts where the show left off?
In other words, which volume should I pick up if I watched up to the end of the series on Adult Swim and want to continue the story?

You ask too many questions for a guy with 5 posts. They update it whenever the good people who spend their time doing it get around to it. Inuyasha chapters generally release on Tuesday, but you're lucky if you'll see it on Tuesday. Most of the time Wednesday, but expect delays until Thursday sometimes too.

And buy the Manga once those volumes start to get released around here.

I hope I have enough posts to ask a question here. .

Where do the movies fit in within the anime series (if at all)?

Sorry to sound pretentious, but you have to understand my being a little iffy on the issue of joining a board with seemingly--so far--the intention of asking where to get Manga scans. If someone had been here for various other reasons and then decided to ask, I'd be fine with it, but it just seems like a lot of effort to join a message board when the same information could have been garnered from a Yahoo search with the same amount of effort.

RE:Where do the movies fit in within the anime series (if at all)?

They don't fit in at all as far as the Canon is concerned, but the Anime does acknowledge the events of Movie 2, I think, because of a recurring character from that movie appearing in a later episode (could be wrong about this, but I remember that one clumsy guy from Movie 2 being in one of the TV episodes). However, they make no attempt to fit the movies into the timeline, and both movies 1, 3, and 4 have things in them which directly contradict the canon. Furthermore, they aren't considered canon by the Manga either, for obvious reasons.

Thank you very much, sir. I have the first season and the first movie on DVD and it was bugging the crap out of me.

I only have the first 9, I think, volumes of the manga. I really like it, but it's frustrating knowing the art is flipped.

Ya know u have kinda a snotty attitude i must say, if anything these bords are all about asking questions. How do u think that makes him feel being treated like he's worthless we he's only reaching out for help? Sir i suggest you spend your time helping others rather than talking down to them.

Fine, if I came across as a little testy, then I'm sorry, but I believe that its part of message board decorum that all participants give to a message board as well as ask. I'm not even asking much; just frivolous conversation in a thread about how much he likes this or that Manga. In other words I'd encourage and, in fact, prefer that he feel inclined to post as much as he wants and about anything that he wants.

My concern isn't the *notion* of asking questions in and of itself, just that I'm warning against the action of joining a message board, asking questions in five posts, then dropping off the board or becoming a lurker once the answers have been obtained. I don't like to see that, and I'm also not saying that he'll do that, but I'm just giving the friendly warning about it since it happens so much on message boards and I consider it rude.
