Above is the video for the first track of Spoon's upcoming "Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga" CD. It's a bit different, isn't it? I like how it's both minimal and pop-catchy at the same time.

Haven't watched the video, but I have heard the song. It is very different, and after giving it a few listens, I like it. I've also heard a few other tracks off of Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga and it's not the Spoon of the past.

Where did that come from? I think it's brillant.

Nice song, really atmospheric. The comment on the video that the song is kinda like "Paper Tiger" is half right -- "Paper Tiger" was similarly minimalistic, but it seemed more sparse even though it had more instruments. "Paper Tiger" also and had a distinct verse and chorus.

If this is the lead off track, I'm assuming the second song on the album is going to be pretty balls deep.

/favorite Spoon album is still Kill the Moonlight
