InuYasha Manga Help Please

Can someone help me?

The farthest I got into the InuYasha series ws the anime on television.

I know the manga is still going on but I have know idea where to go to read it or even buy it.

Can someone explain to me what has happened since the tv show ended or at least give me a website that has the manga so I can catch up myself?

I woud think that like virtually all other Takahashi titles you can get Inu Yasha through Viz. I can't offer much more advice than that. I heard that no Western publisher has actually printed all of Mermaid Forest, which is a shame because I really dug what little there was translated of that series.
