View Full Version : Blue Beetle Appearances in "Birds of Prey" : list of issues?

Folks,

does anyone have, or can point me at, a list of "Birds of Prey" issues featuring Blue Beetle?

I've looked at various Comic Book Databases and I guess not every appearance has been annotated? I'm under the impression he was a "guest star" for a run of issues rather than sporadic appearances?

Any help gratefully received ...

He was a recurring guest star for a run of issues near the end of Chuck Dixon's run, maybe into the next writer's (Moore?). I'm not sure when that was exactly, but maybe around the late 20s, 30s or so?

He had a crush on Barbara. It was pretty sweet.

Who was the guy Barbara was talking to online near the beginning of the run? Was that Ted or someone else?

Yeah , the online pal was Ted. Babs decided to meet up with her anonymous e-pal in issue 15 and at first , they just talk like normal people pretending to have normal everyday lives but Babs soon revealed that she hasn't been truthful , she knew that he was the blue beetle which shocked him and to his credit , Ted soon figured out that Babs was Oracle. It was a very cool issue and from then now , Ted or blue beetle makes occasional appearances in BOP. In BOP issue 19 , it was fun to see Ted showed up in the watchtower while Tim & Dick was there and Dick getting jealous and Tim becoming a fanboy of Beetle was great. In BOP issue 25 , Ted and Babs find out that they both just wanted to be friends and not be involved in any romantic situations.

Thanks for that, but I'd really appreciate a list of issue numbers so I can get a hold of them. Maybe I'm asking too much? if so, sorry ...

That list did not have issue 15 of BOP for some reason , which is a great issue btw but otherwise , it should be mainly complete.
