She officially joined in issue #68, but she was an active participant in the book before that. A few arcs after she officially joined, there was a story where Oracle tried to brainwash her. She quit for a while, but eventually rejoined - at issue #86, I think.

That wasn't brainwashing. It was explicitely the same methods that Huntress, as a teacher, would use to bring an unruly but salvagable kid into the fold. And Huntress didn't really care for the comparison. Or for what she saw as a betrayal of trust.

Huntress rejoined when she realised that the main reason that Oracle was a bitch was that Oracle would rather be effective and a bitch than fail. And in order to succeed at what she was trying to do, Huntress would herself have to become a bitch for that job. Therefore, throwing stones at Oracle for that was unfair - and Oracle helping her would be extremely useful.
