Now that the sexy blonde/brunette/redheads thread is out and running let's check out what's under the the drapes (the carpet we'd best leave along ;) ) Let's create a list of the smart and sexy, beauty and brains, of Sci-Fi. The go-to gal with the technical/mechanical wizardry that can appear on the cover of Playboy/Maxim and Popular Mechanics/Scientific American. Who would you put on the list?

A few to start off with:

Seven of Nine (ST:Voyager)
Be'lanna Torres-Paris (ridges are sexy)
Dana Scully (X-Files)
Fred (Angel) [surprised she's not on the other list]

Name some others.

I don't consider Buffy or Angel sci fi which is why I didn't include any women from either show on that list. As you might tell by my avatar I'm a bit of a Buffy fan though.

As to who I'd consider smart AND sexy.

Aeryn Sun (Farscape)

I don't consider Buffy or Angel sci fi which is why I didn't include any women from either show on that list. As you might tell by my avatar I'm a bit of a Buffy fan though.

Dana Scully (X-Files)

The way in which Dana Scully was written was one of the main reasons I stopped watching X-Files. She was continually presented as an idiot, as unprofessional, inept, and suitable mainly for getting abducted and coming up with allegedly intelligent theories that made 'bigfoot love baby' sound plausible.

She might not be as drop-dead gorgeous as some, but Amanda Tapping/Samantha Carter from "Stargate SG-1" definitely qualifies for this list!

While I agree with Scully and Kaylee I wouldn't consider Aeryn brainy. Sexy yes (a big YES) but Aeryn herself has said she's just a soldier and the science stuff is more John and Zhan's area.
