Of course, you'd be a fool to miss this, its slowly building but since its got 50+ episodes to go on I suspect that by the end it will rival some of the best.

I saw maybe one or two episodes and I'm not really a fan of it. They switched Saya's advantage against the enemies from specially made and rare katanas like in the OVA to her blood, which sorta takes some of the appeal away for me, not to mention that Saya was apparently suffering from memory loss in what I've seen since her personality was the polar opposite.

yep she had memory loss.
the start is mostly good, i find it hard to keep watching though around the episode 18 mark.
i haven't gone back to is since, does it get much better soonish coz i stopped watching about 3 months ago and i dont know whether to begin again.

I stopped watching around episode 24. It hadn't gotten much better. Such a slow narrative and no payoff thus far.

Meh, I saw the original OVA (Blood: The Last Vampire) and thought it was okay. Blood + is slow, but not bad, and it's at least something to fill the time.

I did watch all of Trinity Blood, which was also slow, so I think I can stick with Blood+ a while longer.

(Still waiting for Inuyasha to finally be replaced by something new/better).

I'm surprised they haven't replaced InuYasha just because it won't have any new episodes. Though really, what would you expect them to replace it with, other than something else old and repeated? InuYasha, to the best of my knowledge, only airs in the weeknight block where they pretty much never show anything brand new. Hell, current implications are that the new AS friday block will just be old stuff too.

What I think their doing is showing all current episodes of Inyuasha from begining to end that way this summer they can finally show the last season, which btw if I dont see some resolution Im hoping on a plane to japan.

Also yes they need to replace Inyasha with something good, so what if its old. What about Bebop, Trigun, Scryed, Big O, FLCL, Evangelion for god sakes. Is it old but you cant diss the classics. Shows so good they paved the way for others.

Im watching it also, there is nothing but questions at this point..and im looking foreward to them being anwered.

There is nothing like a cute Japanese school girl using a sword to slash and hack demons.

What I usually hear is the series peaks around ep.30, then putters to a disappointing finish. YMMV though.

They did show the last season. There are no new episodes after that. The Anime ended with no resolution. They decided not to continue it after a key crew member had to stop doing it. Only the Manga continues. Over 60 episodes worth of new material has happened in the Manga but none of it has ever been animated.

Watched it last year, subbed in English. It's a disappointment of a series. :(

Been watching it - so far the animation seems top notch but the story does seem to be a tad slow.

I enjoyed Trinity Blood so I'll keep watching for now.

Wolf's Rain started off slow too - but I loved that series - hoping for a similar result here.

I take you're all watching this on Adult Swim? I didn't even know it was out. :( I guess I'll be waiting for the DVD of this one, too.

After seeing these last two episodes on Adult Swim, I have to say that that is some of the coolest depictions of super speed that I've seen in Anime. It's simple, but looks smooth and gets the job done without looking too flashy either. Those action scenes were some damn beautiful work; I love Production IG's fight scenes.
