Tommy's back to mess with the JLA in a Hitman/JLA mini-series.

From Newsarama:

DC's holding details close to the vest right now, but as was announced this weekend in Bristol, yes, Garth Ennis and John McCrea will re-team for a Hitman story. While Ennis himself has said that he and McCrea were working on a "lost" story where Monaghan meets the JLA for an arc of JLA: Classified, plans change. DC has confirmed that Ennis and McCrea's project will indeed be a three issue miniseries, Hitman/JLA, and will debut sometime after August.

Reportedly, if the miniseries does well, it may be enough to get DC to bring the Hitman trades back into print, and possibly complete the collection

About #$%@*&$ time.

DC has been sitting on this forever. This was supposed to be a JLA Classified arc.

Every DC book that has come out since this was ended, has sucked. Finally for 3 months I'll like a DC book again.

Tommy kickin' it with his old buddy, Superman again? Nice. :)

Tommy barfing on Batman's boots again? That's tight. :p

Tommy scopin' out Wonder Woman with his x-ray vision. That's hot. :D

I can't wait for even a slight return of one of my favorites. Welcome back Hitman!

I don't see why DC is so jumpy with JLA: Classified. Peter Milligan's Kid Amazo went from a single project to a severed one in Classified, and this Hitman/JLA one was tossed out to be its own thing.

Fudge it. TOMMY IS BACK!!! bitches.

And this is why we must buy the miniseries in droves. DROVES, I SAY!!!

This is one thing that stings about waiting for tpbs. The sales of the monthly must be high enough to warrant a collected edition. That's what makes me choose my monthlies very carefully. Especially for cases like Hitman whose tpb series collection is still incomplete, and being that this mini is only three issues, that hinders the chances of a tpb for this even more, unless the crossover with Lobo hasn't been re-released anywhere, but I think it has.

I'm in for these three issues.

The "Hitman" mini LITG talked about is a go, but it's the long delayed "JLA Classified" arc rejigged into a mini, so as not to sully the superhero title.

Jeez, what pansies! The next thing you know they'll start dumping profitable Ennis titles just because of some 'questionable' content! Sheesh!

I would still go all squishy if Hitman crossed over with Checkmate.

People remember the issue where Tommy gives Superman a pep talk, then goes out and whacks a guy?

........whhhaaaaaaa ? first they cancle "the boys" , then pull this of the shelf ! someone in the dc hq must be using a magick 8 ball to decide what to do . that explains batwoman , wacking ted kord and "superman jr the movie"
