Mary is the repressed, introverted sickly woman; whereas, Typhoid Mary is an extroverted killer for pay. Mary is a mutant who also suffers from a split personality. Mary does fall in love with Matt Murdock, although her alter ego, Typhoid Mary, is paid by the Kingpin to kill Daredevil. Typhoid Mary runs a constant fever (hence her pinkish-red skin), possesses minor telekinesis, & can control small animals such as rats, hinting at possible low level telepathy.

Typhoid Mary was introduced as evil from the beginning.

She never sold out Matt Murdock's identity to the Kingpin. That was Karen Page who was strung out on drugs...

This book had some great and creative fights between the women of the MU (brides of set) against the male ones. Jean Grey and Scarlet Witch used a combo of their TK and Hex magic to turn Wolverine into mere adamantium bones.

Invisible Woman, Andromeda and She-Hulk beat Grey Hulk by erecting a force bubble over his head and pounding on him but I think someone turned him back into Banner and Andromeda punched his head off.

This thread has made me realize:
Daredevil chooses girls with great looks, but terrible personalities.
This makes him the exact opposite of Alicia Masters.

Daredevil is suffering from the age-old problem of being a repressed Catholic. He's this moral and upstanding guy dedicated to doing what's right, but he's got this complete fetish going on for dirty women. Nice girls are boring, but Daredevil takes it a step farther. All his girls are complete sluts and DD is taking a chance everytime he sleeps with one of them. Let's run down the list: Karen Page was a porn star addicted to heroin. Hmm...lots and lots of multiple partners, plus the possibility of sharing needles. Off to a great start there, Matt. Typhoid Mary slept with the Kingpin, denoting that she's got really low standards. I think Elektra's slept with Wolverine, not completely sure on that one though. But either way....eeuuww. And Black Widow has been Tony Stark's romping partner more than once, which is just plain gross. If there's anybody in the Marvel Universe who is a colossal ho-bag, it's Tony Stark. God only knows what that egomaniac has contracted over the years.
There's an adrenaline rush that comes with doing risky things that are potentially catastrophic to your health and well-being. It seems to me that superheroes in particular would be very susceptible to this kind of sexual behavior since the very nature of their lives involves day to day risks and adrenaline surges. Hell, even Captain America, the most in-control guy in the MU has racked up an impressive string of gals in getting his freak on the last few years. Diamondback, Sharon Carter, etc...
I don't think the 'good girl gone bad' concept is going to leave us anytime soon. The adolescent in every fanboy/writer/artist in the industry won't let it die.
