You know I think it was Millar maybe who said in several years time people won't remember the delays in Civil War they'll only remember Civil War? Yea I think it'll be more people won't remember Civil War they'll only remember The Ultimates and how much it kicked ass!

No, I doubt that. The Ultimates will be remembered. Good or bad, CW will be remembered more.

That said, the Ultimates kicks more ass than every other book in the history of creation put together, so...

Yes, it was totally worth the nine month wait so we can see Cap and friends fighting the armies or Mordor.

Ultimates 2 has been more Mark Millar than any one comic can handle.

That's either high praise or harsh criticism depending on how you view Mark Millar.

I know that's supposed to be Bifrost streaking in out of the sky... but at first I was like "It's Ultimate Power-Pack!" ;)

Can't wait for this.

Wow. Nine months late and the most unexceptional 8 page spread I've ever seen.

Would someone give Millar and Hitch a cookie so we can forget about them again.

I still can't beleive this took 9 months to get out. I wonder how long the gap will be between Ultimates volume 2 and 3 coming out. Lord knows they had plenty of time to get started.

Really, I sort of felt like 12 was the big issue since the US was freed there... so I wasn't exactly dying to see this issue even though I definately want to see how it ends.

It's about f---in time this book came out! How long have we been waiting since this arc started, almost two years? it's been so long since part 1, I couldn't remember how this story started in the first place. the good part for me is that it will soon be over.

well U2 was originally made of 12 issues, hence the last one should have been the 12. I believe there weren't enough pages to close Loki's subplot but I also fear this one will be more a filler than anything. I just don't see an army of trolls as cool as the Liberators, but we must have hope

I wish I could say I was excited ... but the demon army just isn't very cool looking. Not only do they look totally generic, but it's really not very Norsey.

Thor better whip out some crazy moves.

Yeah... in my mind it's like the fifth season of Babylon 5. The really cool dramatic stuff is already over... everything else almost comes off like an epilogue. I wonder if the bulk of it won't be the set up for Loeds run.

But yeah, we can hope. I'm sure it'll be a good solid read regardless.
