Where to start with Squadron Supreme?

Im interested in getting into Supreme Power/Squadron Supreme.The team i am interested in are the one seen recently in Ultimate Power, ie with Hyperion who looks like superman in a maroon jumpsuit, Doctor Spectrum in the green army suit, etc.

But there seem to be SO many different titles/arcs/cross-overs/realities assosiated with this group, where the hell do i begin? I'd like to start from the beginning, ie pick up the books/stories chronologically. any advice? cheers in advance!

What you're looking for is Supreme Power. It's running in a MAX title and a Hyperion/Nighthawk title in MAX if I'm correct. It's sort of the Ultimate Squadron Supreme, which is funny because the Squadron is based on the Justice League.

Start with Supreme Power 1-18.

The minis and spin-offs have been hit-or-miss for me but you can't go wrong with the main book. IMO.
