I've conducted this game on another message board. It went for 4 "seasons" and was a big hit. I wonder if anyone here would be interested in playing. This edition would be called Survivor: YABS. Two teams of ten compete each round to see which team will lose a member. Additionally, the individuals on the losing team will compete immunity for the cast off. The ultimate winner gets a prize. Questions are welcome and more details will be provided based on any questions you may have. Anyone interested?

I like it. I need 10 ninjas and 10 pirates to pm me and let me know they're interested. The prize will be announced when the game starts.

Can we have a group that want more shirtless pictures of Pip? :evilsmile
What?
I know, it would probably just be me and Bert, but still. . .

In polls that the whole board can vote in.

So, do the librarians get to cast tie-breaker votes, or what?
And what about those of us librarians who have already declared our allegiance to either the pirates or the ninjas?

Oh. Thought it was something I could use my weapons in. Not as much fun as I thought if people are voted off instead of sliced away.

What exactly would these competitions be like? Can you give a few examples?
I am more than likely in for the pirate faction, if pirates vs. ninjas is indeed how you plan on rolling for the first round.

A typical round would go like this:
1. A poll is posted for the board to vote on which team will loose a member.
2. Members from the losing team would then have to compete, usually by answering a set of questions. The person with the most correct answer (and there will be tie breaker questions added and only counted in the case of a tie) will win immunity.
3. The remaining members of the team will be put up in a poll for the entire board to vote one of them off.
Lather, rinse, repeat.
All questions will be sent in private messages to keep from outside interference, but the answers (once collected) will be made public so that the rest of the board knows how smart or dumb you really are.
