Showdown for the Shadows
www.BLOODFORTHEBARON.com and the GI JOE REALM are proud to present the first of many full-colour Battle Action Force stories! Battle Action Force was the long-running UK GI Joe comic which originally featured the RED SHADOWS.
This story is entitled "SHOWDOWN FOR THE SHADOWS", and features Joes such as GRANDSLAM, MUTT, CLUTCH and RECONDO fighting the BLACK MAJOR and his renegade RED SHADOWS!

jamarmiller, if you want to make any further announcements of this nature, please post them in this thread. Do not create a new thread for each announcement.

...or he could genuinely engage us in conversation instead of cramming commercials down our throats. Just a thought.

not exactly gotten a warm welcome from these boards, unfortunetly.
I tend to only enage with conversation with people I feel that want me around, which I get the impression I am only an annoyance here.
sorry about that guys wont do it again

Look at your posting history so far and ask yourself why we might be reacting negatively. "Buy this, it's cool!" is not a great conversation starter for a board clearly labeled Classic Comics.

And I apologize if I've come across as hostile. We like new posters, honest. I suggest you take a walk through the threads, see what we're talking about and either join an existing discussion or launch a new one. Give us something to respond to beyond sales hype and you'll see a difference.

and I am really really glad you read my post, because not once did I say buy this !!! Not once did I try to sell something !!!

its painfully obvious you didnt take the time to read a thing in my post
thanks for the time

Sorry, I'm with Cei-U! here. You would have gotten a warmer welcome if you had shown some willingness to participate. Clearly you weren't trying to sell anything (if you were, I would have just deleted the threads), but your posts seemed designed to attract people to your own website, rather than to encourage conversation.

ya but that is the thing, its not even my site, I DONT EVEN HAVE A SITE , and its not even the GI JOE REALM that is doing it. So unfortunetly I feel like even YOU didnt read my postings, and for some reason you got GI JOE REALM as the title of this thread when it should be bloodforthebaron.com
Bloodforthebaron.com is where the links lead you too not GI JOE Realm, you can actually check and see me as a registered member there under the same name and you will see that I am just a poster
I am not the owner, just a fan who helped get this project off the ground. I am just a registered member there. and thier isnt even a single advertisement on Bloodforthebaron.com , so its not like the site owner who isnt me again, even could make any money
so that was a little confusing to me
but your the mod and I will respect and abide by your request/rule to only post in this thread when I tell other people about classice comic projects like this done by other peoples boards
sorry again to have come across the wrong way

Yes, well, none of this was clear from your posts. It looked to me like you were advertising your own product, and I had no reason to think otherwise.
No harm done, though, and I hope you'll continue to engage in other discussions here.
