hi everybody im sort of new to comics i have read a few here and there. i was just wondering whats a good way to get a detailed history of some of the main comic characters like spiderman wolverine etc. ive always been a big wolverine fan especially. i can remember being a little kid about 12 yrs old back in 1993 and the x-men cartoon series came out on fox kids. i remember it started in october of 1993 it was the same month as my birthday. i was a big fan of the cartoons. i really liked wolverines devil may care attitude even though he was an x-man it didnt really seem to matter wolverine was just wolverine he never seem to really need the x-men he couldve made it just fine on his own. i dont know if this is really the same wolverine the comics portray. but id appreciate any help is their a good web site that tells about all the marvel characters or maybe a book? id like a really detailed history i dont really just want a single or a few lines id like to know how they were born and discovered how they got their powers etc. i also remeber when i was that age an iron man and f4 cartoon was out as well hosted by stan lee and the spidey cartoon came out a few yrs later. i know most of the characters like wolverine spidey iron man f4 soley by the cartoon but dont really know their comics history. and ive pretty much forgotten the cartoons its been so long. i also like batman i cant stand superman never did like him. anyway i guess i rambled on long enough sorry i just like to talk. im also a big fan of stephen kings books i heard the dark tower is a comic now which would be cool if they actually sold it at the book store.there arent any comic stores close by so i just have to shop at the local book store if i want a comic.
