Kyo anime Vs. Manga

I have read several of the Samurai Deeper Kyo Manga books. I have read up through 13, for some reason the bookstore near my house has never had book 14 in stock. :mad: Recently I found an episode of the SDK anime on youtube, and im all like, oh joyous day! Now i can realy see Kyo in action!:D (aprox 22 minutes later) :mad: What the hell?! the movement was cheap, during the fight kyo stood there swinging his sword at a motionless enemy! Has anyone else here been as disappointed by the anime as I have?

Definitely, the anime's nowhere near as good as the manga. They also shorten the storyline a great deal and change a lot of the plot points.

Yup old story, they want to do an anime based on a long on going Manga, but they only have enough funding for one season so the compress everything down and change alot of plot points for marketing reason.

What's also of annoyance is in the anime the bad guys just go out and turn into demons just like that which never ever happend in the manga, and don't even bother using true samurai techniques.

For my personal taste, I found the manga a bit boring and not to my liking but that's just me.
