That was some crazy stuff. I'm going to have to rate and review in two parts, everything before the last page and the last page.
Overall art as usual A+
The first part of this flashback story was pretty good making the buildup to the Hatemonger and Castle fight. I also like what Fraction says about Frank's character when they have his hazing with the bull and the one guys response to Frank beating the hell out of te bull with a board saying how it must not have ever crossed his mind to even jump out of the ring and run away from the wild bull and being unarmed.
I'd give the first part a solid B
The last line on the last page took me completly by suprise, and made me happy that Fraction is following up the groundwork he placed for frank seeing captain america not as any one person but as the persona of what's worth fighting for as an american. This is one of the more interesting stories out there right now and only in issue numero 7, I have a feeling with writing and direction like this we'll be seeing plenty of Frank Castle in the MS Universe, and perhaps a little more of him trying to carry the torch and idea of Captain America against some dirty Illinois nazi's.
