Does anybody know when this will be on tv in America?
And when American dvds will be released?
Watching the first ep on Youtube and it's great.
This, and the new Dr.Who show, really help fill in for Buffy/Angel on television.
Series three of Doctor Who is set for Sci-Fi this summer, but nothing has been said about Torchwood.

I want it to come here too. I've watched 4 episodes via YouTube and 3 of the 4 were great. I didn't like the Cyberwoman episode.
I know it didn't impress a lot of people, but it totally works for me.

Sci-Fi should have a block of Dr. Who (season 3), Battlestar Galactica and Torchwood (season 1) on Fridays.
They really need to replace the Stargates. The current series (of both) is boring. And I don't expect Painkiller Jane to last past the season. (Is it doing well?)

Torchwood will be part of BBC America's Supernatural Saturday lineup beginning in June.

Is that a channel on Comcast's regular package? If so I can see it. :D

A friend of mine downloaded them all for me when the episodes were airing, but I'm only up to around episode 5 or 6 because the show is such a friggin' chore to watch. I hear the show gets slightly better, but so far, I find even the "good" episodes to be barely watchable.

No idea if that's a basic channel, but I doubt it.

Torchwood was really meh and too racy for Scifi. Captain Jack pointessly kisses different men through out the whole season. I doubt sci fi wants to touch that.

BBC America isn't basic for anything as far as I know.
And yeah, I really doubt it'll be airing on Sci-Fi, mostly because it's a lot more, well, explicit than Dr. Who in many areas. Dan Slott, by the way, advocates downloading it (http://www.comicscrew.com/dan-slott-on-downloading-comics/)!
