Pretty much what the title says. Is there a good reason for the semi-excruciatingly long delays on both the second Powers hardcover and the trades that are next in line.
Are Bendis and Marvel in some sort of pissing contest about money/royalty rates or some **** like that?

I wish I could tell you but I've had vol 10 on order for over a year now! It's frustrating in the extreme.

Bendis' been saying in his forum for a while now that the delays have been happening because of production problems. This is what he had to say about the recent hardcover delay:
yeah, i won't point fingers because its our book and thats that, but because of some production problems that are not marvel's fault or responsiblity it was better for us to resolicit. i am as steamed about it as anyone on the planet. and that i promise you.
in fact marvel design guys came in and bailed us out big time.
it will come out and it will be gorgeous and it will have the 'who killed madman?' story it it as well.
the cosmic trade is soon off to the printer.
stay with us guys. i promise you the delays are not because we don't care, in fact its quite the opposite.
