that is not hyperbole. the shaggs are better than them.

i was forced to see this band live one time and the lead singer was filming himself with a camcorder. my friends had to restrain me or i would have gone on stage and beaten the crap out of him.

there are no sounds that have ever been made that i would less like to listen to than kill hannah. they are utter crap with no originality or emotion, no skill, boring, predictable melodies, and laughable lyrics. they are a band riding a trend, and a particularly bad trend at that. the fact that they've gained a small sense of popularity makes me want to vomit.

if you honestly like them you should find the nearest sharp object and cut your ears off.

I can understand if you don't like them, but to say that they are riding a trend is just wrong. They have been around for a little over 10 years now, and their writing style is still somewhat the same and they still dress somewhat the same.
I sense a lot of emotion in their lyrics, but that might just be me.

Not so sure I agree myself. I watched the video and just saw incredibly average mainstream hard rock. Dull as hell but nowhere near as grating as A Simple Plan or My Chemical Romance.

Yeah, I think Kill Hannah are OK actually. I mean, their not doing anything radically new but what they do, they do well.

I've known about them for a number of years, since I befriended the lead singer's girlfriend while she was over here in London and we then kept in touch for a while via e-mail. I got to hear about how the band was doing on a regular basis.

But I only actually got around to hearing them about two years ago, when I saw their 'For Never & Ever' CD in the 'bargin bin' of a record shop for £1.50 and thought I'd take a chance. :o :D

I was actually pretty pleasently surprised by it. I think that their songs are pretty catchy (I especially like 'Kennedy' from that album) and they look cool too! All in all, a pretty reasonable band. I'd give 'em 6 out of 10.

Not to derail the thread and I know they're not for everyone but MCR are far,far better than Simple Man.

MCR actually has compotent musicians behind the shitty vocalist whereas Simple Plan are just plain shit.

That still doesn't change the fact that you left me weeping dispondently when I discovered that Kill Hannah was indeed not worst than the Shags! Damn you Eliot Johnson! Damn your blackened soul!

If MCR has musical competence they haven't put it to any use other than producing the same dull, angst-ridden white thrash that countless bands of its ilk have churned out.
