Hey all... just spent the afternoon at the Shrine Auditorium where the Great David Petersen was apppearing today.First off...What a nice guy.Had the priviledge of having him sign his new hardback book Mouse Guard Fall 1152(beautifully done book by the way.a MUST for all fans of Mouse Guard,or fans of great storytelling and beautiful art.).I was told that these books would be out in a little bit,but premiered here in L.A. http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p217/gdeo/newestpix088.jpg

Having never met him in person like a lot of people on this board, I have to agree, that, via the board and PM's and the old chat room, David just seems like a cool guy. It's a great thing to see Mouse Guard is such a success. As an aside, my daughter ( almost 4) will not shut up about Mouse Guard..we re-read the whole thing again last week and she's loving it and wants to know why we have to wait until summer to get Winter 1152.
Great pickups Gary and I'm hoping my LCS remembers my order...

It was my pleasure. Chatting with Gary (gdeo) was the highlight of the day. Truth be told I took longer working on his sketch than normal to keep him hanging nearby to chat with.
