Tony i really enjoyed your take on alan scott in this story,

and johnny mimic was cool too, you write more of this one shots more often, the art was nice too.

so Green lantern was the superman, before there was a superman, nice touch tony. i loved it.

anyone else any thoughts on this one shot solo tale?

Just wanna say that Dennis Calero's art absolutely ROCKED! I'm dying to do more with this guy -- he's amazing.

I also noticed that father time looked the same way he did before Black adam ripped his face off....

Time is so evil, and he is not smart, he is like a guy where people should just say to him, father time we know you are lying stop trying to convince us otherwise.

i noticed you had denis stick solomon grundy in too in a panel

Grundy is one of Alan Scott's classic villains. And one of my favorites, too!

Finally picked up my comics on Sunday and I have to say, this was a really good one-and-done issue of JSA Classified. It's great to see Alan act like a true hero and inspiration again. There's just something really cool about him reaffirming the fact that he's the guy that everyone looks up to and that he has to hold himself to a higher standard despite the moral grey zones of the modern world. Dennis Calero art was keen beans, probably some of the best art I've seen in an issue of Classified.

Also liked seeing the dial in there too. Gotta go back issue hunting for those comics some day.

This was a good story. It's always nice to get a one-shot issue with a satisfying story. Dennis Calero was a revelation.

It was a beautiful issue from story to art.

The classifieds (JLA and JSA) are hard to sell. It really is story by story or team by team. I've been telling everyone to pick this one up.

I just wanted to say thank you for the great story, Mr. Bedard. I picked this up the other day and I thought it was a heartwarming tale. I've always had a soft spot for Alan Scott and I was pleased to see you treat him with the respect and dignity he deserves. I wish they would let you do a mini-series starring him, I'd buy it in a hertbeat.

Thanks for the kind words on this one.

Sorry to hear that the Classifieds are hard to sell, though I guess it stands to reason. But was LEGENDS OF THE DARK KNIGHT a hard sell, too? I'm wondering what could be done to make the Classifieds more attractive.

The problem is the publishers will put their high profile content in their own mini-series.

The Classifieds sell well versus LDK. Then again LDK sold to hardcore Bat fans and I think JLA and JSA just happen to have more fans.

The three series really don't bump much based on creative teams and they seem only slightly more responsive to character and cover content.
