View Full Version : Should Ultimate Cap be armed?

I know he has his shield which is cool and always will be. But I was thinking maybe he should carry a pistol, or a blade or something. He's a solider in the Ult U, and with the practalicity of the Ult U, I think a side arm holstered to his hip or a knife in a boot sheath would't be too out of line or out of the Ultimate Cap character that Millar has produced.

i think his general plan is to take out the guy with the biggest gun first, and use it.

Well half the time he fights he doesn't need to pack heat but we he sees fit he goes terminator... He did after all take outWorlvrine with that ozzie and the took that ak to those liberator foot soldiers...

Yeah, I like that Cap will use firearms if the situation requires it. More realistic for a super soldier IMO.

He already used a UZI against Logan and a flamethrower against Thor..I guess he uses weapons only when he's facing a more powerful fighter than him

Eh he gave hank a smacking in first ultimates with his bare hands and shield, and hank was like 12 times his size.

But I did like ultimate war when he grabs up a machine gun and starts shooting up bad guys. I mean his mainstay weapon is his shield and fists but it is cool to see him go rambo with guns sometimes to. I like the ultimate cap since he gets his hands dirty and gives as much crap as he takes.

yeah, but obviously Hank is not as strong as Thor or Hulk, even giant-sized, although the fact he was drunk probably kind of lowered his reflexes. Herr kleiser was going to kill him and Cap didn't engage Thor in a hand to hand combat in "The passion"..it required ALL the team+ the EU supersoldiers to take him down
that said, I forgot to mention Cap was armed during the WW2 flashback in the first issue
