View Full Version : Introduce Yourself
Joe Zool
01-10-2006, 02:53 PM
Name: Zac, otherwise known as Joe or Zool. Either one is fine. :)
Handle: Joe Zool (based on the Joe Cool character that Snoopy created)
Marital Status: Single.
Reason you like CBR: I've met some cool people here (mainly on the X-Boards).
Reason you came to CBR: I started to get back into comics and found this through the CBR main page.
Favorite Sports: None.
Favorite Music: None.
Other interests: Writing, playing games on the computer and leading a boring existance. ;)
Biggest fear: Um, everything? :p
Personality: All over the place. (I'm a good-natured kind of guy who cannot spell)
What do I want from CBR? Nothing. Just to keep on having a good time around here.
Fenris
01-10-2006, 02:53 PM
Name: Richard
Handle: Fenris
Martial Status: Confirmed Bachelor (and happy that way.)
Reason you like CBR: The people, natch. They've become some of my best friends over the past decade.
Reason ya came to CBR: Back when the Kingdom Come miniseries came out, I went looking for internet stuff on it. I found Jonah's KC message board, which later evolved into CBR.
Favorite Sports: I'm not terribly into sports.
Favorite Music : 80s and 90s rock music. Some 70s.
Other interests: The internet is too big for me to have other interests! :)
I read a lot (sf and history, mainly) and that's probably what I do with most of my non-CBR free time.
Biggest Fear: That I'll fail at something important to me.
Personality: Friendly (I hope), usually sedate, often hungry.
What do you want from CBR: To keep posting on it. And to have a Fenris Board!
õ
I have high hopes!

Name: James Patrick Francis Alexander Montgomery Gustav Lawrence Sylvester Ferdinand Ralph Charles Maxwell Hezekiah MacQuarrie
Handle: MacQuarrie
Marital Status: Single and staying that way.
Reason you like CBR: Idle chitchat and alternating bursts of profundity, absudity, trivia, all of it originating from people I like. The absence of the seething cesspool of fanboy rage usually found on comics forums. the fact that nobody feels the need to race to be first to respond to a thread, and nobody ever does so by typing "FIRST!"
Reason you came to CBR: Link from an Astro City site mentioned in the letter page of said comic.
Favorite sport: Archery. Followed by fencing.
Favorite music: I'm all over the place. Bobby Darin, Eva Cassidy, the Roto Rooter Good time Christmas Band, Ookla the Mok, Steve Tyrell, Me First & the Gimme Gimmes, Diana Krall, Johnny Cash, early Springsteen, and everything Billy Joel did prior to "An Innocent Man."
Other interests: Movies, animation, cartooning, fooling people with made-up crap like bonsai cows.
Biggest fear: Success.
Personality: It's on back-order. I hope to have one soon.
What you want from CBR: Support and encouragement. Money. Henchmen.

WOW......Try fittin that on a business card!
Name: Jason Philip Klinger
Handle: jpk (get it?)
Marital Status: married, 8 years in May
Reason you like CBR: I don't have a circle of what I affectionately call fellow nerds. This site hooks me up with people who care about things most people just make fun of.
Reason you came to CBR: Saw a reference at Silver Bullet (for which I write TPB reviews - shameless plug)
Favorite sport: American football
Favorite music: For want of a better term, alternative. Most recent purchases include Pinback, Oslo and Snow Patrol. Longtime fan of Nine Inch Nails, The Cure, and can't leave out Interpol. Oh yeah - and Death Cab for Cutie, Travis, Pedro The Lion, etc. and so on.
Other interests: Weightlifting, illustrating, running.
Biggest fear: Death (I kinow, so cliche - but it actually keeps me up at night).
Personality: Outgoing and confident. I manage a newsroom (I'm a newspaper editor) so I pretty much have to at least seem like I have my sh!t together.
What you want from CBR: Just to share ideas, learn other people's opinions and vent.

Other interests: Writing, drawing, computer art, jazz, sleep, standup and sketch comedy, horribly irreverent cartoons.
Biggest fear: They're all equal.
Personality: Quiet, shy, low self esteem/confidence, introspective, generally nice, but abrasive when the right button is pushed.
What you want from CBR: I'll let you know when I find it.
OzBat!

Name: Craig
Handle: OzBat!
Martial Status: Married 15 years this march, two kids (daughter, 12, son, 9).
Reason you like CBR: Been here since it began, you're stuck with me!
Reason ya came to CBR: Australian Federal Government made the collossal mistake of giving their employees access to the internet back in 1996. Went searching for comics sites, found the Kingdom Come Message Boards about a week after they opened. These later evolved into CBR.
Favorite Sports: playing: touch football. Back before I totally shredded both ankles playing the damn sport. Watching: Rugby Union, Rugby League.
Favorite Music : 80s rock (icehouse, INXS). Contemporary Christian: Newsboys, Tod Agnew, Third Day.
Other interests: occasionally scribbler - b&w cartoonist. This here internet thingie. Used to be lead singer for worship team at church, leading a 7 piece band, backup singers, choir. Put that aside for family the last couple of years.
Biggest Fear: Kids going wild and getting into trouble. Hopefully indoctrinating my kids into cartoons, comics, and computer games, is pushing anything else far out of mind!
Personality: Wild mood swings between manic overexuberance and quiet introvert, with occasional delusions over being funnier than I actually am.
What do you want from CBR: Somebody said earlier, that they want it to be like it used to be. I don't think that's possible. I'd like it if more friends from those early days came back however.

Name: Sabrina Fox.
Handle: Sabrinaset.
Marital Status: Single.
Reason I Like CBR: I get to discuss comics and stuff here, since no one at school or the hospital follows it.
Favorite Sports: Target Practice with the gun of my choice. For the past couple of months, I've been getting into archery.
Favorite Music: I listen to anything with a good beat, from Hip-Hop to Country to Classical to Acid and everything else.
Other Interests: Cooking, drawing, sometimes gardening.
Biggest Fear: That I'll screw up while operating on someone and their death will be my fault.
Personality: Wild on the outside, shy on the inside. Act a lot different than I really am. Have a lot of issues I never share with people, they don't wanna hear 'em. Feel safer since when people insult me, I know they're not attacking the "real" me.
What do you want from CBR: Mod a small board, help out here a little.

Going through this now merged thread (heh, sorry, SuperE), I realized I never DID put my stuff down seriously back then. So...
Name: Steven James Pott
Handle: Paradox, 'Dox for short.
Marital Status: Divorced and presently undatable.
Reason you like CBR: I left at one time for a couple of years over differences in format. I returned 'cause I just missed talking to so many people here. Whatsat tellya?
Reason you came to CBR: New to the Internet in '97, I wanted someplace to talk comics. I found Mania.com, which was your basic trollfest. I "exploded" politely at all the nits here, and someone linked me to CBR with a "you might like it better here", and of course they were correct.
Favorite sport: Watching: NFL football. Hockey, but to a lesser, more general degree.
Playing: Very low-level vollyball, basketball and softball. D-league stuff where everyone sucks, and if you win, you go celbrate and if you lose, you go "drown your sorrows". ;) Love to play hockey in a league like that, but I'm a goaltender and I sold my equipment years ago. Maybe once I get "solvent".
Favorite music: All over the map, but predominantly non-derivative rock of various stripes (I'm including stuff like techno and industrial, etc. in this category). I can usually find something I like in just about any genre out there (except barbershop, which I have an irrational hatred of because my mother was a Sweet Adeline and made us go to all of her shows).
Other interests: Computer graphics, art, good-looking women, mythology, comparative religion, philosophy, human behavior, good-looking women, martial arts, history, zoology, cryptozoology (along with many strange "In Search Of" type subjects), home repair and decoration, good-looking women, movie musicals, hideously awful movies, fashion, good-looking women, television, trivia and trivia games, dancing, good-looking women.
Did I mention good-looking women? :p
Religion: Eclectic shamanism. Basically a "roll your own" religion predominantly shamanism with a whole lot of other stuff thrown in there.
Biggest fear: "Wasting my life." Common enough in guys my age, but a valid criticism when aimed at me.
Personality: Friendly and jokey, but with the ability to also display my serious side when needed. Basically, I consider myself a "good Joe" that can often piss people off with condesention, misunderstanding or inflexibility on certain issues. I TRY to keep it "nice", though, but like anyone, sometimes I fail.
What you want from CBR: To kidnap an heiress or threaten her with a knife.
To get cable TV and watch it every night
An Indian guru to show me the inner light.
A meaningless love affairwith a girl that I met tonight
Someone to love and somebody that I can trust
To try and be happy while I do the nasty things I must.

Name: Jeremy Wilmot
Handle: o1pickleboy(not 01pickleboy) pickle for short .
Marital Status: Single, in a long term relationship(3 and 1/2 years now).
Reason you like CBR: It is a place where you can talk about anything and everything. With hundreds of people around the globe. That and comics
Reason you came to CBR: I started on the DC message board, but I thought their was to much hatred there. I found my way here thought marvelboards though.
Favorite sport: Watching Football, playing Hockey(field, my dumass still hasn't learn to skate.)
Favorite music: Classic Rock and Hard Rock, Such as Ozzy, Megadeth, Van Halen, and AC/DC
Other interests: Politics, Work, drinking, sex, and psycology.
Religion: I don't believe in organized religion, but I believe in god.
Biggest fear: Being alone
Personality: I have under gone alot of changes in the past few years. Many things have changes my personally(or at least my attitude) I used to never be serious. Now rarely I am not. Now I am happy to stay home, before you couldn't keep me in the house. I am quiet until I know you then I never shut up. I am smart, but poorly educated.
What you want from CBR: For it to be here when I get back.

Hola :)
My name is Steven and I've been posting here for about a year, ever since I googled for information about New Avengers.
I'm seventeen and I live in Western Australia. It's very boring here and one day I'd like to move someplace better like Sydney or Canada.
I've been into comics since I was seven and they made me want to be an artist one day.
I pretty much like all music but right now I'm listening to a lot of Rufus Wainwright,Antony and The Johnsons,Springsteen,The Darkness and Auf Der Maur.My favourite band is The Cure and i'm wearing a Cure shirt right now.
My favourite comic right now is Runaways and I'm looking forward to all the Marvel events coming up in 2006.
The best show ever produced was The adventures of Pete and Pete.

Hey, I'm game.
Name: Mike Hodder
Handle: thehod. Or The Hod. Or just Hod if you prefer. Or even Penfold.
Marital Status: Married, as luck would have it Mrs Hod. Small world eh?
Reason you like CBR: It is chock full of intellegent, witty, people who are up for some enjoyable debate, be it heavy or lighthearted. Plus, half of you lot are all fucking nuts, which appeals to me.
Reason you came to CBR: As with others, I started out at the DC messages boards, but it look so damn long to post a message due to the draconian swear filters that I gave it up as a bad job and came here instead.
Favorite sport: Football. That's soccer to the all the people living on the large landmass just west of me. My team, for my sins, is Birmingham City who's history can be best summed up by comedian Jaspar Carrott. "Birmingham city. You draw some, you lose some."
Favorite music: All sorts really. Levellers, Pop Will Eat Itself, Lightning Seeds, Manic Street Preachers, Stone Roses, Guns N Roses, Beatles, Stones, Nirvana, Kaiser Cheifs, Frank & Dean & Sammy, even some classical. Mostly guitar based rock, but I have been known to dance around to the odd Abba song after too much vodka.
Other interests: Games, be it video or board or even roleplaying and most sports. Old books. Films. Comedy. History.
Religion: I think organised religion is the root of all evil in the world today, but I think that faith can be one of the things to save it. I don't believe in God, but I do believe in higher intellegence.
Biggest fear: There is no one fear that I could pin down. What may terrify me one minute may not bother me in another time. Loss of friends and family is the biggest one I suppose though.
Personality: Please, if you've got one to spare.
What you want from CBR: For it not to go down whilst I'm at work, or I might actually have to start doing my job.
Copper
01-11-2006, 07:32 AM
Name: Mike Morgera (No, Stan Lee didn't come up with that name!)
Currently, I lucked out getting a job as a production manager for SHOOT, which covers commercial production. Essentially this means I know about a lot of commercial campaigns months before they come out, who made them and have even met some of the people and ad agencies who've worked on them. High pressure job especially on press night, but I'm learning a lot about publishing and how distribution works.
Handle: Copper, though not because of any kind of police work, but a character I'd made up first getting into online games with Diablo--Copper Cat.
Marital Status: Single, but dating on and off.
Reason you like CBR: I kind of drifted here after the Wizard Boards went Kaplooey, noticed that some other posters had done the same, and have been here ever since, lurking or posting when the mood suits me.
Favorite Sport: Biking. Never did like contact sports that much, and a couple of knee operations didn't make them all that appealing.
Favorite Music: All over the map. Sometimes I like classical, other times I'll get into stuff like Blue Oyster Cult and AC/DC, other times I'll take Mike Bloomfield, Miles Davis, and Dr. John.
Other Interests: Writing and drawing, though by and large I haven't had the nerve to post my stories on the Neverending forum yet.
Religion: Lapsed Catholic. Family keeps hoping I'll "find my way back to God" to which I answer, "He knows where I am if He wants to find me."
Biggest Fear: Heights and Spiders. In that order.
Personality: Kind of shy and quiet usually unless I'm comfortable with company.
What I want from CBR: Nothing much--just that it keeps going like it has.
Nice meeting you all!
:D

Favorite sport: Boxing.
Favorite music: Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Motorhead, Kyuss, Queens of the Stone Age, Eagles of Death Metal, Blue Oyster Cult, Thin Lizzy, T. Rex, Hank Williams Sr. etc.
Other interests: Video Games, playing music.
Religion: no comment.
Biggest fear: Cant really say i fear much, other than those damn clowns in the basement.
Personality: mostly laid back, sometimes silly, sometimes serious.
What you want from CBR: to have a great time chatting with new people about comics, life, politics, whatever may come up.
Gilda Dent
04-10-2006, 11:00 PM
Name:Gilda. I was fortunate enough to get to choose my own name about eight years ago, and of all those I tried on, this one just seemed to fit me best. I got it initially from The Shawshank Redemption. The movie the inmates are watching in the beginning section with Rita Hayworth is Gilda.
I'm of Japanese and Filipino descent. My father was an engineer at a manufacturing plant in the Midwest. My mom was a beautiful 16-year-old Filipina from a very poor family in General Santos City, a so-called "mail order bride"
I was born male, but have since had that nasty little birth defect corrected, physically, socially, and legally, and become my true self, the woman I always was inside.
I'm 29 years old, 5' 5", 104 lbs, thick straight dark brown hair, egg shaped face, medium brown almond shaped eyes. I have a small white birthmark on my scalp that gives me a couple dozen hairs that come out unpigmented, looking white, which never fails to draw comments, and never fails to have someone question it when I say that it's natural.
Handle: Gilda Dent. I took it from the comic book character, especially as she appears in The Long Halloween, and she's the only comic character I know of sho shares my real name.
Marital Status: I'm married to the ever so beautiful Emily, whose name I took when we married. Yes, that makes me a lesbian. It's unusual, but it happens. She is lovely as the day is long, and much smarter, a biochemical engineer for a major pharmaceutical company. She is, like me, partly of Japanese descent, also with a "mail order bride" mother, in her case, from Thailand. Her family is to a person the sweetest, smartest, most accepting group of people I have ever met, who took me in as one of their own when my family shunned me as a result of my divergent sexuality.
She's also tiny, at 5' nuthin, and just a hint over 90 pounds.
We like to joke that we're a bi-racial couple, because I'm Japanese/Filipino (or Japapino) and she's Japanese/Thai (or Thaipanese).
Profession/Job: I'm a first grade teacher. I've just finished my doctorate, so I may be looking to move up from the very earliest grade to the other end, at the college level, soon. I'm certainly not going to be returning to my current position next year, as I'm not happy there, nor are they happy with me. It's a mutual lack of admiration society.
Reason you like CBR: We get to discuss comics and movies and tv shows and gay rights and there are a bunch of cool people here. It's almost like having friends, and it's a much cooler place than that bridge I used to hang out under that I avoid now that the biggest billy goat knocked me off of it.
Reason you came to CBR: I did a Google search to find out in which issue Mary Jane and Peter were married, and got a link to a thread here with Kurt Busiek debating a few posters on whether the marriage was a good idea, and saw how reasonable they were, and I thought it was cool to see two of my favorite writers, Kurt and Gail, posting here, so I signed up. I started posting in a Captain America vs. Batgirl rumble, IIRC, migrated to YABS from there, and gradually found myself posting most here.
Favorite sport: To watch: Figure skating. To play: Road racing (running) or basketball. To coach: Rasketball again.
Favorite music: Folk mainly, with showtunes and classical and a little jazz mixed in. A little of everything but rap, actually.
Other interests: Computer games. Emily and I have a truly kickass two character Diablo II team that can make Diablo runs on 8-player hell.
Road racing: I run 6.8k every morning, and I'm hoping to up that in a month or so to 8.5 and 10.2k, to train for some 5 and 10k runs this summer.
Movies: I love movies, and spend
Books: I am an afficianado of chldren's books, which were the subject of my doctoral dissertation.
Biggest fear: I'm mildly androphobic (fear of men) but working on it, not always successfully, but my biggest fear is having my previous identity exposed to those people in my life and of my aquantaince who don't already know.
Personality: Extremely shy, just short of agoraphobic, introverted, battling chronic depression, social anxiety, poor self-image. I'm socially awkward with those people I do know in real life, save Emily and my brother Jiro, for fear of saying something offensive, embarrassing, or overly revealing.
What you want from CBR: A pleasant way to pass the time.

BlairH
04-11-2006, 03:54 AM
Name: Hi, I'm Blair John Houston. Yeah that's right, BJ. I was fortunate enough to not be called "Lance" I suppose.
I'm Scottish through and through, same as my family. (except for my Grandfather who was a Polish citizen for most of his life, although he had Scottish roots)
Handle: BlairH. It's just my first name and the initial of Houston. I deliberatley circumvented the "J".
Marital Status: Unmarried for now.
Profession/Job: I'm a law student. At weekends I work at www.Gamestation.co.uk : The number one entertainment retailer in the UK as voted by MCV.
Reason you like CBR: So many reasons. I guess it's because I like the people here. Even that filthy liberal Wesley Dodds! (spits)
Reason you came to CBR: Gaz kept talking about this place, and it intrigued me. As soon as I got into reading comics and graphic novels, I decided that I had no excuse for NOT joining up.
Favorite sport: Smallbore target shooting is my personal fave, but I also enjoy the highpower rifle discipline. I like combat pistol shooting too, but I only get to practice that sport when I'm on holiday outside the UK.
Favorite music: Videogame and movie soundtracks.
Other interests: Computer games obviously! I'm especially big on RPGs and FPS games. If you've read my posts on the games forum I'm probably the biggest opponent of "dumbing down" ever, as I like my games to be tactical. Breach bang and clear! Go when ready!
Biggest fear: Big government and SPIDERS!!!!!!!1111111one I HATE spiders.
Personality: I can change my personality on the fly. Sometimes I can come across as being kind and considerate. Sometimes I can be a real asshole.
What you want from CBR: A cool place to hang and chill with my homies when I'm doing law research and/or writing.

I'm John. I'm 16, and a student at public school. I manage a B+-Average, though I used to get straight As eariler in my school life. I have high functioning autism, but I'm very capable and I'm just as normal as any other human being.
I enjoy manga, Game Boy Advance games, and watching "The Simpsons". I'm a fan of Mimi Tachikawa. I also enjoy "Dilbert" and "Get Fuzzy". Other than CBR, I'm at MyAdventureGame.com. I used to be at Friday Night Fights.
I live in Indianapolis, which is a highly unusual city to live in. And that isn't just the superheroes going around*.
*There was an old thread called "Superheroes in Indianapolis". You have to be joking.

Name: Gary Alan Bolt (That’s right gbolt)
Handle: Sir Edward – a mysterious character in Hellboy comics
Marital Status: Happily married for 17 years
Reason you like CBR: Lots of people expressing their opinions well. I actually learn stuff here.
Reason you came to CBR: I started frequenting the Hellboy forum in ’04 and still spend time there every day. (There are several artists with awesome art threads there if you are interested in that kind of thing.) I’m a bit of a news junky and the first time I looked in on this forum there was a great Iraq discussion going with many posts and many opinions. I’ve been hooked ever since.
Favorite sport: Watching: Hockey and most individual sports. Playing: I don’t play sports these days. I tried fencing a few years ago. I was pretty good at gymnastics and diving when I was a kid.
Favorite music: I was into music when I was younger and kind of lost the passion. In recent years I’ve gotten into old Jazz. Modern interests include Gorilaz, Beck, Tricky, Hoxley Workman, Massive Attack, The Breeders.
Other interests: Many of my interests are driven by my career. I am a glass artist and make unique blown glass vessels and cast glass sculptural pieces. My sculptural stuff is often inspired by my interests in astronomy, cosmology and cellular structures. Other interests of mine include my wife, food (I love cooking and I love eating in restaurants), wine, sampling different beers when I travel, drinking gin, smoking pot, reading (mostly non-fiction), comics (duh!), photography, cycling, nature, anything to do with space and spacecraft, movies, camping, canoeing,.
Religion: Atheist
Biggest fear: Being poor.
Personality: Generally I’m easy going but I do have a penchant for sarcasm that can get me in trouble. If I’m stressed I get grumpy.
What you want from CBR: Its fine the way it is.

Welcome to the boards.
I'm Rabid Trekkie (I don't really like giving my real name out, gives me a sort of Batman vibe)
Let's see, came on these boards as a Rumbler and after about two years I slowly came over here. Politically I'm not sure if I'm becoming classic (or how about Heinleinian since we're all geeks here) Libertarian with Conservative leanings or Conservative with Libertarian leanings. Religiously I'm an SDA which means I'm rather literal in my Biblical interpretations.
My main joys are: writing my own fiction, reading, watching old movies, Star Trek, sci-fi books movies and tv, discussing religion, learning interesting things about history (for example I can't tell you who the 12th President was, but I know that President Taft got stuck in the bathtub) and a whole host of other things I don't have time to get into.

Ohh. I get it. Well, "Naamah" spelled like that is a Hebrew demon/goddess of desire, and in a series of books by Jacqueline Carey, it's basically the same thing, only cooler because her followers become courtesans in her name. I looked up the original spelling as translating from some weird language- either Greek, Roman, or Latin, and it's "Naemah" (the little a&e connected thingy). Gypsy refers to the fact that I'm Hispanic and based on the way I dress, alot of people think I have some sort of gypsy blood in me. Which I don't think I do but... hey, being related to Esmerelda'd be pretty cool.

Technically, I'm not a psychologist. I have a MA in clinical psychology and practice psychotherapy, but am licensed as a mental health counselor. I've been to a good dozen conventions in the last ten years and never actually met a comic creator, genre writer, or tv show cast member, though there have been many at the conventions.

I think it can be done... if the pain is inflicted in a humorous way. But offhand I can't think of any instances where a pain in the ass could be considered funny.

So is the flirting thing that I've noticed is commonplace around here just because we're all geeks and our geekiness makes us sexy? I think that's why.

Well ya have to understand...the ratio of geeks to women are very low on CBR. So odds are you'll get the obvious flirting and all. I'm not since I believe you said you were 16 and I'd feel like a creepy old mid 20's geezer ...;)

Name: Perry Holley
Age: 38 (yes, I'm an old fart)
Occupation: Pest control technician
Location: Tucker, GA (a suburb of Atlanta)
Marital status: Married, no children
Religion: Agnostic
Politics: libertarian (with a small-L)
Comic book preferences: A pretty even mix between Marvel, DC, and various other companies. Maybe about 1/2 of what I read is superhero stuff, the rest various non-superhero titles.
Other hobbies: Tabletop RPGs (i.e. Dungeons & Dragons). Read lots of fantasy and SF novels; nonfiction tends toward historical stuff.
Other stuff: Moderator of the Games board. Currently on a misery-inducing diet due to high cholesterol. Was dropped on my head as a small child.
I was getting tired of talking about Nightcrawler's family tree and people looking at me going "Jessica. What the fuck are you talking about. No one cares. You fucking geek."If anything, I think Kurt's family tree should be made more confusing.
A time-travel story where he becoms his own grandpa should do the trick...

Theatrical future is a stretch... I do it because it's fun and because all my friends do it too... but I don't think I'd ever make a career out of it. We did A Midsummer Night's Dream this year, which was the most amazing show I've ever done. That and Camelot. So I'd say comedies and musicals are my favorite :)

1.) It does depend. Though all comic characters, human or mutant, have long life spans. :D

3.) Does it matter? They both feel good. ;)

I'm guessing this is hentai.
And if you know japanese, that's slightly less disturbing than if you don't and you just mean tentacle monster porn.

I was blessed to have Arrjay describe me as "Satan with a huge collection of Aunt May Hentai."
I don't know why, but I was just keeping the joke going.

I can hear the music playing now....
See them tumbling down,
Pledging their love to the ground!
Lonely, but free, I'll be found,
Drifting along with the tumbling tumbleweeds . . .
Cares of the past are behind,
Nowhere to go, but I'll find,
Just where the trail will wind,
Drifting along with the tumblin' tumbleweeds . . .
I know when night is gone,
That a new world's born at dawn!
I'll keep rolling along,
Deep in my heart as a song,
Here on the range I belong,
Drifting along with the tumbling tumbleweeds . . .
( Tumbleweeds, tumbleweeds!
See them tumbling down,
Pledging their love to the ground! )
Lonely, but free, I'll be found,
Drifting along with the tumblin' tumbleweeds . . .
I know ( I Know! ) when night is gone ( hmmm . . . )
That a new world's born at dawn!
I'll keep rolling along,
Deep in my heart as a song,
Here on the range I belong,
( Drifting along with the tumbling tumbleweeds . . . )
Drifting along with the tumblin' tumbleweeds . . .
( Tumbleweeds, tumbleweeds . . . )
Tumble . . . weeds . . .

Hello, I'm David. I'm 25 and have just recently got back into comics after a 12-14 year absence. I used to manely read superman and batman but am trying to get into other things. I'm really digging "52" and Civil War at the moment. So many things have happened, ex. infinite crisis, that im trying to catch up.

Welcome big dippin. I'm enjoying Civil War so far and a few books. I'm kind of in decline in terms of my comic buying and enjoyment, but maybe I'll get enthused about some more titles at some point. Right now I'm transitioning to buying TPBs.

That has yet to be proven. Have you posted a picture on the "Show your Visage" thread?
*edit* Since you are under 18 you may not want to do that to help prevent stalkers and the like.
