Well,since I couldnt find a thread....

PLOT: Blade reunites with old friend Hannibal King, and thrashes a celebration party by Draconis.

REVIEW: Well, the Blade series continues its consistently good story telling. I understand long time Blade fans would dig the return of Hannibal(although I don't knwo much about him). He seems to be quite a wisecracker, with the Ghost Rider bit(can someone tell me when Blade and GR met?)

Another part of the prophecy is fulfilled in quite an interesting way,(with Blade vamping on Drac) and this peaks Cross's interest. I wonder what the prophecy is really all about, and I wonder if Cross is a vampire himself.....

The art is consistent. Consistently passable that is. While some panels look good, this is still one of those books where the storytelling exceeds the artwork. I wish John Romita Jr or David Finch was doing this....

Rating: 7/10.

This comic has been a decent surprise, storyline-wise ,since the first issue. I've liked it more than I thought I would which is great. But I'm just not sold on the artwork so far. Just don't think it jives with the story of Blade. Anyway, sounds like another solid issue.

I heard the sales on Blade were pretty dismal. Is that true?

If so, I'm astounded. I thought Blade was just right there in the A-List just below Spidey and Wolverine......

Highly disappointed.

I dropped it after #2, but came back for the Hannible appearance. What a joke. He reminded me of the skinny guy from honeymooners

I don't think I've read a decent Blade since Crescent city blues, or Hannible since the Spiderman unlimited issue :(
