Original Nova Suit vs Annihilation Nova Suit

I do not know how to add polls, but the question still stands. Bottom line, which Nova suit do you like best?

Personally, I like the one from Annihilation. As I've said before, this one looks more like a space suit than a superhero costume. The vents on his torso look like lights. I know they aren't, but they look more like they belong in outer space than the original star bursts.

I have not liked his other uniform changes, but I love this one, especially when DiVito drew it.

I'm fine with him having this suit while he contains the entire Nova force. But if/when he dumps it (and I think eventually he has to), I'd like to see him return to the classic suit.

The new Nova suit's all right, but those damn shoulder spikes are a complete turn-off.

both are representative of the times/eras for which they were introduced, style wise. But I really think the original is better suited for 2D illustration.

I prefer the classic suit. The new one is okay, but he needs to get rid of the bell-shaped helmet and go back to the bucket. He's looking a little too much like Doctor Bong.

I like the classic one alot but the current one is my favorite since it makes him look like the number one badass Nova Centurion. Plus he looks less like Nova Corps member #220829002-003 and more like how a supreme Nova should look as well as a cosmic A-list character.

The classic costume is what I see Nova reverting to after the Nova Corps are reinstated but everytime I look at it now, it reminds me of his lower powered earth adventures.

I love the new one, except for the way Sean Chen is drawing the helmet...I don't like the way it flows out at the bottom.

Still got to go with the revamp of the classic I listed above though.

The new one looks more...Cosmic. The previous one was great for an earth-bound Nova. This one looks sleek, and more like a Universal Centurion or something similar.

I think there should be some sort of middle point between the two. I like elements of both, but neither one of them seems quite right to me. The Annihilation version looks more like a spacesuit or a uniform than a spandex costume, which is good, but then it also goes a little overboard with some of the elements.

I like the _idea_ of the new suit (armor vs spandex, vents vs starbursts) but I hate the spiky bits. They serve no purpose, AFAIK.

I couldn't agree with you and Will S., more.This one, in my opinion, looks more cosmic. And it does separate Rich from all the other Novas. He went from a uniform with a design painted on the outside to one that looks more like something out of a science fiction.

I have some issues with the Doctor Bong look, however most of the helmet art looked good in the book. I think Chen will only get better. Let's hope he gets to stick around.

I was never a fan of the old Nova costume, but I really like the new one. The comments about it looking more "cosmic" are on the money.

Although I do love the classic 70's costume which introduced me to Nova, I do prefer the design of the current more, even though its a pain to draw, so I've voted contemporary.
