It's like 30 Days of Night all over again - and Niles has milked that udder bone dry.

I thought marvel zombies versus army of darkness was supposed to be a prequel that explains how the zombie plague started. Can anyone confirm this?

I'm pretty sure this was covered when the two projects were first announced. They both do, but from different perspectives. AoD is kind of the side story, the infection tale told through the eyes of Ash. Well, that and a chance to see Ash carving up some superheroes. More the latter, really.

Zombies was a good idea that seems to be driven into the ground, is'nt there a sequel after this as well too.

Agreed. God, can they just stop beating this zombified horse already?

cool cover, decent preview.
there does seem to be a lot of the marvel zombies stuff out there right now, but if it sells then good for marvel.
i never picked up the original marvel zombies issues, but maybe someday i'll get around to that and this new series.

I dont usually say this often, but if Marvel put out a posterbook featuring all the covers Arthur Sudyam has done I'd be all over it.

Agreed. Except on that "good idea" part.

They did say that there was going to be a poster book a while back, but no news since.
That cover is sweet. I need it in High-Rez (with no MARVEL down in the corner) stat!

Pretty soon it will be "marvel zombies civil war" and then "ultimate marvel zombies" and then "marvel zombies vs ultimate marzel zombies". Of course they will all have like 17 re-prints with 113 alternate covers, 7 tpb re-releases and 9 limited edition re-release hard covers.
I was sick of marvel zombies by the time I read that pitiful excuse of a ending in the original MZ story.
If it werent for the very very very slim hope ash might make MZ vs AOD interesting I wouldnt even be buying it.

I dug Marvel Zombies. I've enjoyed Marvel Zombies Vs. Army of Darkness so far and I'm planning on picking up the upcoming Ultimate Fantastic Four Hardcover that deals with the original Zomibe story battle with the "Frightful Four" as well as the upcoming Black Panther arc once it hits TPB format and the Dead Days book also. I've alos got 3 of the t-shirts and am planning on getting the figures as well.
I agree that Marvel is over doing the Zombies thing(but what else is new) and needs to give it a rest. Just let the series alone and let it stand by itself.
I just want to know when they are going to bring out Marvel Apes. I'm really looking forward to that one.

Marvel Zombies Civil War! I wonder what it could possibly be about. A Stamford incident that kills hundreds before the zombies could eat them? I personally think a What If? featuring the zombie virus hitting during Civil War would be a good read.
I know how everyone feels about it getting close to jumping the shark, but I'm just not at that point yet. I'm still reading pretty much every zombie thing that comes out. Can't wait for the 616 to interact with it.
I still say Galactus could not have been eaten. And Hulk's gamma blood would have taken that damn virus out! And Pym is a fool for keeping Black Panther hidden for food. How bout someone with healing powers, idiot? Endless buffet.

So, does this mean that what's happened/happening in Marvel Zombies/Army of Darkness never really happened?? I'm so con-foo-sed. Which story am I to believe really happened?

Yes please, because I'm not gonna lie to ya, that is one sexy illustration. I might have to buy another copy of that book because the current one I have is damaged now. ;)

I just had a dream about Marvel Zombies..... dealt with the fate of poor lil Franklin RIchards...
ANd the second part of the dream involved Ash....and at the end he sends out a universal signal and Optimus Prime saves his ass....weird.

It's the best event they put out. Much better than Civil War IMHO!
