Batman is the best at all sorts of things, but Ollie is the best shot in the DC universe with the kids all coming pretty close.

I can think of all sorts of examples of Batman showing amazing aim, but I have never seen him match any of the high end shooting stunts of the Queen family.

I think it has to come down to the fact that a bow and arrow isn't an essential part of Batman's crime fighting apparatus. It's probably one of the things that he's highly efficient at, but still has to be somewhat rusty with simply because he doesn't often use a bow. Compared to a guy who uses a bow and arrow every night, I can't imagine Batman outshining Green Arrow.

are you referencing the recent jlu comic? cause in that one, it was admitted that that was a lie, but that he would eventually surpass him.

I don't know how good Batman's aim is, since he was often seen as a detective and martial artist than a marksman. Besides, his characterization depends on various writers who probalby sometimes don't share the same opinion.

But I know Batman was able to dodge Bullseye's projectile-thrown attack in Marvel vs. DC, although Bullseye looked surprised rather than angry, which is how the Daredevil movie's Bullseye felt when Daredevil easily dodged his attack.
To be honest, I felt the movie fits Bullseye's character 10 times better than the Marvel versus DC crossover.

But Hal admits (in a conversation with Ollie issue #7) Roy really didn't hit the mark as far back as when he held it for Oliver. In the issue you are referring to, Roy actually missed the bullseye and accused Hal of moving it.

Wouldn't making Bats a better bowman be like making Supes faster than Flash? It kinda' takes away from their main hook for charactors who already outshine most every one in a bunch of other areas.

IMHO, Bullseys IS the best part of the movie.
