I got the email today, got mine booked. :)

Yeah, even though I live here in the Chicago area, it's far easier to just stay there.

Here's the link: http://www.wizardworldtravel.com/Default.aspx

One thing to note: The hotels all cost the same this year. So now it's just a matter of preference as to where you want to stay. For me, it's Embassy Suites.

See you guys there I hope!! :)

I just going to hop on the Metra in Barrington Station. Unless I'm in California. In which case San Diego here I come.

Funny. I booked my hotel/flight/car for San Diego today and paid for it in full. Hope to see you. I am going to be in SD from the 24/25 until the 30th.

You should still go to WWC. Especially since you live in Chicago.

A minor point. I don't live in Chicago but in the suburbs of Chicago. A lot of people who claim to be from the City are not but pretend they are because they don't want to tell someone from Los Angles that they grew up in Schaumburg even though Schaumburg kicks ass.

Hence the reason I say "Chicago area". Usually I get the typical response though: "Ah Chicago! Bang Bang!"

By the way, as an FYI to one and all: Knuckles is no more.

However, Hyatt now has 2 new places (taken from the website):

O'H American Grill
Both comfort-in-food and comfort-by-design bring a warm intimacy to the O’H experience. Guests entering Hyatt Regency O’Hare’s newly renovated lobby will quickly gravitate toward the magnificent, illuminated-glass archway towering above O’H American Grill’s entrance. Service is amicable and informative, presentation is uncomplicated and home-style, and the visual-aural-olfactory sensations of a fast-paced exhibition kitchen inject O’H with a dynamic, interactive atmosphere.

O’H American Grill serves full breakfast, lunch and dinner menus, with breakfast and lunch buffets that feature made-to-order stations for omelets, burgers and more. O’H is open from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., seven days per week.

Red Bar
The new lobby level Red Bar captivates guests with 21 plasma screen televisions and eight double-sided media screens. This Trattoria-style venue emits a lively yet sophisticated energy and is positioned to infect the lobby’s general seating area with its joviality and mirth. Didn't want this to get lost in the "shuffle". :)

Ironic, you can book the rooms, but not get the tickets yet.

If it won't crowd you, I accept.

I'm pretty low-maintenance and don't take up much room.

But, as Guapo once told Bert, I don't spoon.

I'd offer, but I might had a friend or two already splitting the room costs. Right now, though, they're waffling a tad..... IF anything changes, I'll let ya know!

It's ok, Red Bar has no idea what it's in for the second weekend of August. They'll make more that weekend than any of the others, combined. :D
