Maybe if they do some spidey movies after SM3, they could bring the sinister six to the big screen? They would have to bring Doc Ock back to life, but that is plausable; There is the slightest chance that Doc Ock could've survived the end of SM2, simply by holding his breath and swimming to the surface, lol.
Sandman is in SM3, so that's 2 out of 6. Then in SM4 maybe they could introduce Kraven and Mysterio and then SM5 introduce Electro and bring back Doc Ock, then in SM6, finish off the saga with a massive battle with the S6. Also, it's kinda unrealistic that Spidey would be able to defeat them all, so maybe they could bring in somebody else, say Mr. Fantastic or Wolverine. That would be so immense, who agrees?

If they're going to do the Sinister Six I'd rather see six villains that haven't been introduced to the movie-verse, Dr.Octopus doesn't have to be on the team, and most likely can't keep an entire movie going by themselves.
Lets say that Vulture is an established jewel theif when the movei starts and as he once again eludes Spider-man he is contacted by a mysterious man who promises big money if he joins the team.
After the opening we are introduced to Mysterio who gets pummeled but escapes and gets the same offer.
Then big time bad guy assemble three goons who he turns into Scorpion, Electro and Rhino.
Finally the big bad puts on a Hobgoblin outfit and is revealed to be...
Ok, I don't know who it should be, but this works better I think that having to wait for more movies.
But then again, I think that the third movie should be the last one for awhile. Let the franchise rest a little.

This brings up an interesting question; since we know that JJJ was originally responsible for creating the Scorpion, would you want to see his part in the movie expanded, so we see him enacting his vendetta against Spidey?

Yes, he does. Any version of the Six without Ock sucks.

I always thought that the S6 would be more successful if they didn't have Doc Ock there to screw them over everytime he didn't need them anymore.
Also, so far the dear Spider-man-movie-making people have done pretty much no wrong IMO, so I'm sure that they would be able to handle it nicely.

Actually, while you laugh, that is possible. Alfred Molina has spoken about his Sam Raimi asked him if he would consider returning, if they every asked him to. He asked "Didn't the character die" and Sam Raimi answered that all we saw was him sinking, we never saw him die.
While it might never happen, if it did Doc Ock returning would be likely. Molina said he would love to return if he asked.

Interesting, I wouldn't mind seeing this happen but I'm not getting any hopes up.

Imho, I would love a massive build-up to the S6, but Dark Soul has a good idea. Although Doc Ock should be in it, he's like their leader. Also it would be so ace to see Kraven on the big screen

That's a matter of opinion.
So it is.
But, Doc Ock is the founder, leader, and spirit of the Sinister Six. It would be like having the Fantastic Four without Mr Fantastic.

What do you mean every time?? He only screwed them over once in Return of the Sinister Six.

What do you mean every time?? He only screwed them over once in Return of the Sinister Six.Ok, that is true.
But Sandman and most of them still wanted to kill the guy when Sandman was the leader, they would've done it too if not for Spider-man, and Venom being an ass.
But if Molina and Raimi have said that Ock might return, then I'm ok with it.
But I'd perfer it if they explained his resurrection by saying that the arms somehow managed to take control over the dead body. Because he was in fact a good man in the movies, so it wouldn't really work with him going back to crime.

^Very true. The inhibitor chip is still broken, so maybe he still loses control of the tentacles before he fixes it?

Except not the same because the Sinister Six are a lot more flexible than the Fantastic Four, at least in terms of membership.
But, they aren't that flexible. The only time the Six were without Ock was when Mackie wrote it, and had them try and kill him. Completely ignoring continuity, since Ock had made peace with the Six in Revenge of the Sinister Six.
And as for Venom joining the Six, the less said about that the better. Terrible story.
Ok, that is true.
But Sandman and most of them still wanted to kill the guy when Sandman was the leader, they would've done it too if not for Spider-man, and Venom being an ass.
As I said, that story was a load of bull.

I wouldn't call Octavius a good man in the movies. He certainly had a stronger moral fibre, but he was very ruthless when it came to his work.
I refer to when he was giving the demonstration of his reactor, and it went haywire, Octavius refused to shut it down, and Spidey tried to unplug it and Octavius viciously smashed Spidey into a wall.
I think the arms just fleshed out that dark side he had.

Sinister Six is better if all characters have something against Spidey already and fought him. If the audience doesn't know how much of a threat all the characters are individually, there is not much of a purpose too. You would need two or three movies of build-up.

Don't forget the time when the Sinister Seven was formed. They were after Kaine partly because he killed Ock.

That was a seven, not a Six ;) Besides, if we're talking villain teams, might as well throw in the Sinister Twelve. The funniest of the lot.
Double the number of villains in the Six, and got their asses whupped in less than one issue :D
