Yea, it will happen in Fanmade videos and such, but man it looks really cool, and they did a good job on the presentation for those...the four on four was good, but the other two particualrly the Thor and Superman battle was awesome....

Hold crap, its the video game I've been dreaming about ever since I first played the original Street Fighter. If that game were real, it would consume all of my time.

It is real, though.

Just grab the program from that site, and load in all the characters and backgrounds, and you can play it. Me and my brothers have been having great fun with what they finished so far!

Cool. I finally found Lobo and Spiderman for use in my M.U.G.E.N engine. Though the Ice character I got some problems with.

Ice character is not complete I guess. She has only one special move (unless there are more I don´t know about).
But the great news is... there are PEOPLE WORKING ON IT.
This game will be COMPLETELY real in no time, that´s a dream come true:D
If anyone wants to help there are ways to do it. Go to http://dcvsmarvel.scruffydragon.com/ and join the efforts.

There are also another proyects like "Gotham Knights" that kick a** in my opinion too.

Anyways, I knew about this for about a month now and I already downloaded an incomplete version to play around with while I´m waiting for the final version to be release :D

Sorry, but M.U.G.E.N is NOT a console game. It was created in the late 90s by Electbyte, in which the company was trying to create a shooting game wound up with this. It's technically free, and there are hundreds of characters that can be of usage.

The program operates like a standard fighting game, except that there isn't a preset number of characters or stages, upon which you can add or, if you have experience & the proper tools, create.

And if WAS a console game, consider all the material that they use. It wouldn't make a profit since it'd be paying royalties.
