I was just perusing the usual 8 billion pieces of anti-Rick Olney sentiment
when I came across THIS blog at Publisher's Weekly's "The Beat" ->
http://pwbeat.publishersweekly.com/blog/2007/02/28/rick-olney-at-it-again/
THREE DEAD PEOPLE in Rick's IMMEDIATE family?
Am I the only person that finds this suspicious, creepy and disturbing?
Someone please tell me I shouldn't be concerned.

Ck, I get where you're going, but honestly, I have no doubts whatsoever that these tragic events occured, and I think it's in pretty bad taste to post this post. Losing a parent and two other family members is just pure sadness for anyone, including Rick.

That totally beats my answer of "They got downwind of him"

I find his sentence structure in that post creepy.

When isn't Rick's sentence structure creepy?
But yeah, CK. The deaths happned. Period. No need for the "keep dying" outlook. Everybody loses folks around them.

I'd no idea WHO died - I just saw 3 deaths and my knee-jerk reaction was
"Hrrrrrmm -- ??"
Since not many things surrounding Olney are circumstantial, I didn't give him
the benefit of the doubt.
Oh. KAY. Well, that wraps up THIS little thread . . .
*sheepishly walks out of room, adjusting neck tie*
(I love your work, btw!)
