I was wondering if their are any really good writeups on the world of Mortal Kombat, races of the mortal kombat fighting games (hopefully with pics).

I love the universe and would like to know more.

I don't mind the retcons in MK:SM. But them throwing every single plot point out of the window in MK: Armaggedon made no damn sense. All the bios were gone, the endings blew ass, everyone came back to life with literally no explanation...ugh.

The game itself was fun, but I actually liked the story in MK so that kinda pissed me off

Glad someone else noticed that. The only thing that 'progressed' from Deception were the character designs. I was already worried when they interviewed Ed Boon and he said that MK:A was going to wrap up the story for EVERYONE. That's alot of people's stories to wrap up, ya know? It was like a forced Crisis on Infinite Earths, but w/o the quality or George Perez :D

Anyways - I agree w/ the OP, the MK Universe was one of the more original things to come out the US gaming in the last few years for sure. And I might be one of the ten people that actually started to enjoy Mortal Kombat: Conquest (the TV show) :o

The bios are being released on the MKA site. There has been about 11 bios shown at this point.

They're alright, but the damage of MKA has been done, and I'm disappointed that Midway would half-a$$ a pretty good storyline at this point. It's all Taven's fault, at least his brother was important to the overall MK storyline.
