View Full Version : MAX - Punisher #46
Okay, has Ennis just given up now? This seemed like a pretty lazy story to me from the getgo, but this one really takes the cake.
Normally, I get this comic for some fun fantasy, but the absurdity and crappiness of this is starting to sink in. I thought this lastest book was really boring and went nowhere. I mean, comeon
Frank just lazily walks up to an unknown house and gets shot.
Yeah, that Punisher sure is an action guy!

Well the way I see it is that poor Frank got dazzled by the woman's ass and legs, as well as her sob story. But once he saw how bizarre the situation was at the house he was gonna bolt, but too late.
Strange thing for me was his lack of body armour. I figured Frank slept with some kevlar on.

I agree, it was practically in his chest. But admittedly, it was more in his shoulder area, where even with armor, typically needs to remain flexible (i.e., no armor). Still, with all the crap he took in the Barracuda story, you would'a thought one shot in the arm would not have knocked him out for the fight.

Punisher is Hulk Hogan with guns. He's stuck on a six book Farris wheel, in which he gets the crap beat out of him until finally -- against all odds () -- he overcomes in time for the victory, Pyrrhic or otherwise.
Still, it's like the A-Team: if you like the formula it can be entertaining.
