I've been wondering: has anyone here, or that you know of, ever actually gotten anything from Bazooka Joe or any other, "as advertised" in comics, stuff?

We've all seen x-ray specs, right; but did you ever actually get them from some inside the comics advertisements?

How about a "hypno-coin?"

An "atomic sub?"

Did you ever sell "grit?"

Or open up a "shoe seller suitcase?"

One thing my brother and I always wanted (but never got) were those little army men, or roman soldiers, advertised on the back covers. They always seemed more complete than the junk we'd buy from dollar stores or Woolworth's.

Kind of wanted the so-called "atomic sub" too. :)

I have gotten Christmas cards that I could had sold to family and friends. I also gotten Sea Monkeys.

As a lad I ordered those "How TO Draw Superheroes!" books from a comic. They were pretty lame when it came to actual instruction.
