Seems to me that he has had at least 3 or 4 times, having his faced fixed. I am wrong? Once during OYL, once during Hush(?)

Once in current continuity. It was fixed during "Hush" and re-scarred during "Face the Face."

Harvey's face was also fixed in a few non-canon stories, including "The Dark Knight Returns" and at least one story in Batman: Black and White. I also believe it was previously fixed sometime back in the 1940's or 1950's, but those earlier stories are no longer considered in continuity.

There was annual in the late 80's that fixed his face. He clawed it apart by the end of the issue.

The first time would have been in 1952 or so, with the restoration being undone in about 1954. Two-Face then disappeared until the early 70's when Denny O Neil and Neal Adams brought him back. In Batman Annual 14 (which updates his origin) we see that after his first encounter with Batman he received plastic surgery but as Doesismatter mentioned, he ripped the stitches out and undid the reconstruction. He had plastic surgery in Hush which was undone in Face the Face. So I guess three times.

You'd think with all the plastic surgery he'd look like Michael Jackson by now.

Only one of the things I disliked about that series.

There was a story by... can't remember who, exactly, but I believe that it took place in the late 80s, and there was a short string of comics that had Harvey without his scarring until he freaked out and restored it. It's not considered canon anymore.

It should be remembered that way back in the '50's there was another Two-Face, an actor who played the character who got scarred when someone replaced the "prop" acid for real acid in a reenactment of the courtroom scene. I can't recall exactly how it all turned out, but I think this was during Harvey's first "fixed face" period, and Batman get's Harvey to help bring in Two-Face II.

Incidently, I believe Harvey's face got redamaged by an explosion, and this happened before he went into limbo in the '60's.

It's been done too many times, whether it's considered continuity or not.

I'd think it would be really cool if they fixed it for good, but the emotional scarring would still be there. It'd be even scarier because he'd still call himself Two-Face even though his face is fine. It would show more of his inner demons.

Miller kinda did that in the Dark Knight Returns.
