Much as I love the Godfather (especially on the 360), Scarface is the better game in my opinion.
No other open-world crime game has been able to make me feel like I'm gaining power, and building an empire like Scarface. I feel the difference between beginning and end far more in that game than I have in Godfather, or even GTA, Saints Row, or True Crime.

Just going to bump this up as I'm considering wether or not to purchase Scarface.
I liked Godfather, but found it a bit to easy and repetitive - I got the vibe it had been rushed (all it really needed was a few more maps for the buildings really, and maybe a bit more to do with businesses once you got them).
What are the main differences between Godfather and Scarface?

Well, for one thing, there's the cell-phone system.
Using it, you can A) Call up one of your cronies to bring any ride from your fleet of vehicles (you have to have purchased it first), B) Buy weapons from your own underground arms dealer (his inventory improves as your respect level does, so you'll be wanting to cut deals and take over territory), C) Take missions or learn about drug deals going on, D) Order stuff from your catalog (cars, boats, planes, absolutely tons of renovations, decorations, and general upgrades for your mansion, and more), E) Check on the status of your businesses, hire security for them, repair any damage done to them, F) Pay off the cops to keep heat off you/broker peace with the gangs, etc.
All available in one handy-dandy device. Really streamlines some of the old hassles.
