I could use some good batman stuff, any recomendations? see, I'm reading war games, its shit, and theres only so many times I can re-read evolution or the killing joke. and I just watched the batman 1989 movie.
I need some good stuff now! recomendations? whats loeb or rucka doing these days?
Loeb's at Marvel and Rucka's doing 52 and Checkmate. I take it you're on a budget and that's why you're sticking with trades? You should really read Batman:The Cult. It really is the precursor to 'No Man's Land'. You should also try Batman: Year One Hundred.

I'll always suggest the usual suspects...
-The Long Halloween
-The Dark Knight Returns
-Year One
Then there's...
JLA: Tower of Babel
Tales of the Demon
Strange Apparitions
Gotham by Gaslight (if only for Mignola)
Arkham Asylum
Yeah that's it! Can't believe I didn't think of them. Tower of Bable is a true gem!

I say the first volume of Knightfall is very good, with Batman having to fight all of his villains one after the other.
If you like a darker story with the Scarecrow, and enjoy Batman chasing Catwoman over the rooftops, I recommend the excellent Batman:Terror paperback.
If you like Rucka, have you read No Man's land?
If you can still find it, Brubaker's The Man who laughs is very good.
