I am sure this was addressed somewhere, but I can't seem to find it.

A lot of people, including Joker, seemed to know that Jason Todd was Robin. Then how is it no-one has drawn the connection to Bruce, other then Tim Drake did?

Jason was living with Wayne, was a ward of his, or whatever, so how come no one is wondering how Wayne didn't know all about it?

There have been several stories that suggested that the Joker has figured out Batman's true identity but doesn't care because he considers Batman to be the true personality. Batman has referred to the dead Robin as Jason in front of the Joker (in "A Death in the Family" and "Knightfall"), but there has been no indication for sure that the Joker knew it was Jason Todd.

As far as I know, the general public believes that Jason was killed in an explosion in Africa. It is not public knowledge that Jason was Robin or that the Joker murdered him.

Tim Drake deduced Batman's true identity because he recognized Dick Grayson performing a signature acrobatic move, not because he knew Jason was Robin.

Nope, in Knighfall Batman shouts "Jason Todd" in front of the Joker.

So one has to assume the Joker knows that Bruce is Batman. But that problem I have never seen addressed anywhere.

But thats all he says to the Joker.

Even theJoker doesn get why he almost beat him to death. Didnt he say something like "Whats up his ass?"*

*Obviously thats not what he said, but that was the intent, so to speak

I just looked in my Knightfall paperback. Joker says nothing, but Scarecrow says something like "my gas made him see his greatest fear, but it only made him more angry." So Joker (and Scarecrow) knows at least the name Jason Todd has to do with Batman's greatest fear.

Also, in Joker:Last Laugh, Joker says about the Robin he killed: "His name was Jason, right?"

I also think during the red hood storyline recently - Jason and joker talk about the killing and batman calls him Jason in front of the joker.... i could be wrong though

and i have also heard something like was posted earlier about the joker not caring who batman is under the mask...

if you think about it the joker doesn't even want to know who he was before the smile
