A few series I had been reading for the past few months have or are going to end soon and I've got some room in my list for new series. These are the DC titles I'm thinking about picking up:
-Nightwing
-Robin
-Shadowpact
...or if you guys could give me advice on what you think's a good ongoing right now, please advise. My pull list on my sig. pretty much says the type of series I read. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Shadowpact has been up and down. It's a fun title, but it's taking its time getting where it's going. The big villain introduced in the first arc hasn't been mentioned but once or twice since. Willingham seems to be setting up for a lot of stories early.
Nightwing's recently gotten much better. Wolfman's writing now, which is great, and Jurgens is on art, so it's like a book straight outta' the Eighties. Dick's got a lot going on with his character and Marv's taking care of him.
You just started picking up Blue Beetle, right? You should, if you haven't already, check out The Atom. It's similar, a lot of fun, young heroics with a newbie in an old mantle.

I am not currently reading any of the 3 titles mentioned, but I can comment on a couple of others.
I've been picking up The Spirit and really enjoying that book. It has a great old school feel to it. Darwyn Cooke is doing both the writing and the art. Plus the series is only a few issues deep so it won't be hard to catch up.
Justice League of America is another book I would recommend. I'll admit that the first story arc dragged on a little long (I think they could have told the same story in 4-5 issues instead of 6). However, it was still a good story and Benes art was great. I'm also a big fan of a lot of the characters on the team roster (Red Tornado!), so that is a factor for me too.

I don't read Shadowpact, mostly because the crisis tie-in mini didn't appeal to me.
I can hands down recommend Nightwing. It's been a great ride with Wolfman on board. The art is great and on the whole it is one of my favorite pulls every month. This month is the end of an arc I think, but should still prove interesting.

I passed on this title, and everyone I know is loving it. I guess I'll be hitting the back issues. :)
