Superman/Jay Garrick: It has been far too long since the last Superman/Flash race (the "DC 1st" Flash race was more of a chase then a race). And since Bart is far too fast, it would have to be against Jay Garrick. It'd make for a nice arc-kickoff.

Amen to Lobo/Plastic Man.

Elongated Man (if he's ever resurrected)/Plastic Man would interesting too, since they have the same powers (well, Plas is more stretchy and such, but close enough).

Ooooh, I really like that idea. It would be interesting to see how seriously Ollie would take Catman after his appearance way back in Ollie's book.

Another combo I would like to see is The Ray and Firestorm. Ray is the young guy who has had his shot at with the big guys in the Justice League and Jason is the (newer) young guy who would love his chance as well.

Or Zauriel and The Demon. Make heaven and hell team up to take down some baddies.

I liked the scenes of Mr. Terrific and Black Lightning from IC as they were written in "Blue Beetle". The black superheroes tend to be spread out one to a team throughout the DCU, so I think it would be cool to see some of them team up.

Yeah, Superman: The Dark Side. (http://dccomics.com/graphic_novels/?gn=1572) Basically, "What if" Kal's rocket landed on Apokolips instead of Earth, and Kal is raised as Darkseid's son. It even got kinda/sorta made into the series finale of Superman: The Animated Series.
