The Shield returns in one week

One week from today on FX is the premiere of season six of The Shield. I believe this is going to be the final season. While it kinda blows that the series is coming to an end since it is my favorite show, I think it makes sense to do so because Vic Mackey's story seems to be heading to a conclusion.

I'll be glued to my TV next Tuesday night at 10.

Looking very forward to The Shield season six. There are so many interesting plotlines from last season to be explored beyond Lem's murder including Claudette finally taking over the Barn, Dutch's info-sharing with Kavanaugh and IA (including the mystery of the money train), and the attempt to push Vic out the backdoor, something that got dropped as last season turned into a battle of wits between Mackey and Kavanaugh.

Yeah, I remember in the premiere of season 5 Vic mentioned how he was being pushed to take early retirement and lose his pension. Then it was never mentioned again. I am sure it is going to come up this season.

Only for a few eps as he tries his last move to screw over Vic.
