the answer to the question, in case anybody feels like snail mailing (are you kidding me?) is-

Michaelangelo -original mispelled word (Eastman and Laird didn't initially look it up, and so it was wrong for the first 16 +/- years of his existence.)

Michelangelo- correct spelling- when Laird started volume IV, he wanted to get it right.
