Most of my revenge stories aren't funny, because I used to get very angry and vengeful. For example, I once donated my ex-girlfriend's clothes to charity. She was homeless at the time. That isn't funny, and I'm sorry that I did it. I've been a lot better since I took an anger management class nearly three years ago.

I do have a funny failed revenge story. I was annoyed at my college roommate, because he didn't like my close friends from a rival university who sometimes came to visit on weekends. My roommate would make these snide little passive-aggressive remarks that were lame and yet irritating.

So, we were going to this party at another dorm, and were all planning to crash at another friend's place after the party. I went around and borrowed some alarm clocks from neighbors, and hid them around our room after setting them to go off at 30 minute intervals starting around 4:00 AM. I figured that would be late enough to catch my roommate sleeping after he got home from the party he was going to.

Our pal at the other dorm had a hassle because his roommate was busy with his girlfriend who was in town for the weekend. By the time we found out about that, we were all stupidly drunk anyway, and just went back to my place to sleep. And then the damn alarm clocks started going off. After shutting off the first one, I crawled around shutting off the other ones. I missed one, and that went off an hour later. Then my own alarm clock went off at 6 AM. I ran out into the hallway and hurled it against the wall, smashing it to pieces, and cutting my hand on a piece of plastic shrapnel.

The worst part is that my roommate never even came home that night. The sunuvabitch spent the night with some girl he met at that party.

An army private was stationed overseas when he got a "Dear John" letter from his girlfriend of many years.

In the letter, she told him that she had been sleeping with his best friend for some time, and she wanted him to send her all the photos he had of her.

Understandably, the private was upset, and didn't know what to do. So he went to his sergeant and asked for advice. The sergeant listened and finally said "Give me a couple hours."

So the sergeant went all around the army base and collected as many different photographs of beautiful women as he could. He then had the private mail these pictures and had the private write a brief letter.

Some time later, the ex-girlfriend received a bulky parcel from the private. In it was enclosed the following message:

"I just wanted to say that I understand, but I also have a confession. It seems that I can no longer remember what you look like. So I'm sending a collection of photographs I had lying around. Please keep the pictures that are of you, and send back the rest."
