Runaways reading suggestions.

I know that most of Runaways has been collected in HC format, but I dont have the funds to spend on three HC editions.

Can you suggest maybe 5 most important digests to pick up. The ones that have developed the plot the most and will give me the basics of Runaways before I pick up issue 25 next month?

There are only, as far as I know, seven digests. If I had to pick two to drop, I guess it'd be #2 and #5, but they're all still great reads.

I'm not quite sure what you mean, but . . .

There are two (soon to be three) hardcovers. Volume 1 has the first series #1-18, volume 2 has the second series #1-12, and volume 3 has the second series #13-24.

There are six (soon to be seven) digests. They're small softcovers, with six issues apiece. The first three cover the first series and the next four cover the second up through #24.

Hm.. 5? Well, all six (soon to be seven) have important elements to the whole Runaways story.... I'd go for them all, if you can.

eBay or Amazon are a couple of good places to get them a bit cheaper. :)

Runaways is an awesome series, meny more should be reading it. People are missing out. :D
