Papa Banner/Absorbing Man/Blob-thing's death at the end of Ang Lee's "Hulk". It wasn't that it didn't make sense, but I think the photography (or would it be CGI?) was really bad and it didn't come across too well in a dimly light movie theatre. The whole time I was thinking "So... what's going on?" All I saw was lights and sounds and yelling.

He only lives for about a second. He's definitely dead at the end.
I give them so credit for not wussing out and having him get an antidote or some other cheap ending.
Meg Ryan in City Of Angels. I was enjoying the film immensely until the moment this woman decided to take her hands of her bicycle handles and zoom down a curvy hill. . . . .WITH HER EYES CLOSED!!! And the look on her face when the big-ass log truck backs into the road, like, "I SOOOO f***ed up!"

Jack Rafferty in Sin City. Also, the guy Miho shot with an arrow. Not only did he survive an arrow thru the chest, his buddies leave him to ponder what to do about and he gets shot in the head by another arrow.
The old guy guarding the bridge in Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Not only was the death dumb, it was also highly ironic.

Example #1
Ed Harris' death in the movie Creepshow. he walks into a graveyard. he stumbles into a very shallow hole; landing on his back. he sees the gravestone above him slowly move; as if being pushed. he keeps on watching that gravestone inch closer and closer until it's toppled; smashing his head. you kind of have to watch it to understand. good thing is that he went on to bigger and better things.
Example #2
that kidnapper bleeding to death after being slashed by the mother (Kim Basinger) in cell phone.

Boba Fett got a pretty lousy death, even if it was the Will of the Force, but I suppose George Lucas can be forgiven since he never realized that Boba Fett had captured the imaginations of fans the way he did. On the commentary for STAR WARS: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi he says that had he known this he'd have given Fett a better death.
As for Kirk and his crappy death . . . well there's no excuse and about a million better ways they could've done this really.

That guy in the Texas Chainsaw Massacre who goes back into the house just to get killed. That's Darwin at work, right there.
When an officer in Return of the Jedi pulls a gun on Han Solo, and Han throws a box of explosives at him, which the guy *catches* and is sent flying back over the railing.
Commando. "Blow off some steam, Bennet."
Gene Hackman in the Quick and the Dead. First a bullet goes right through his chest, leading to a silly, if absurd, moment where he realizes he's been shot by the light shining the hole through onto his shadow. But then he gets shot in the eye, and somehow does a complete back-flip upon impact.
Victor, from Underworld. He manages to turn around, draw his sword, and go through about a dozen facial expressions before realizing his head has been bisected.

How did he die again?
He fired a grenade launcher that he grabbed from a soldier at the Hulk. The grenade bounced off the Hulk's chest, bounced and rolled behind Talbot. Grenade explodes, Talbot flys toward the camera screaming with a fire ball roaring behind to engulf him, comic panel cut away. They don't show it, but I'd assume Hulk did a blink take, then a shrug that meant "Dumbass," and walked away to the next scene.
