I was never able to follow closely this series when it first aired because I could never get the date/hour right.

But looking back at the few episodes I did manage to watch (which I liked), this series had some potential, especially with the father subplot.

So, I was wondering...

How many seasons did this series last and did it garner any fans at all?

And did Jason Priestley ever manage to win? Because, for all his pose and boasting, Tru seemed to win the great majority of times.

I think it was just one season. I checked all the discs via Netflix a few months ago. Eliza was good in the role and they brought Priestley in to be her nemesis.

1 & a half seasons i think. The 2nd season was cut short.

Only one season aired. They filmed six episodes of a second season but they never aired. They are out on DVD, though. It's a shame, it was a good show. Especially when they introduced Jason Priestly's character.

And I believe Jason's character kind of managed to win once, in the first season finale. While Tru is trying to save someone, Jack kills someone else.

Here (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0364817/episodes#season-1) is the full list. I always thought it was a very avaerage series, but one with characters who held just about enough interest to keep bringing me back (that plus the Baywatch-esque guilty pleasure of watching Eliza Dushku run! :o ).

Tru Calling aired 1 complete season and then the second season was 6 episodes, 5 of which actually aired.

It was an excellent show.
