IIRC, it's called The Forgotten. Shirley Walker did a nice job on the soundtrack to that one.
"The Forgotten" was about the homeless kids. I think there was an episode like what is described by the dude whose name I can't bring myself to type because he spelled "You're" wrong and that bugs me to no end because it the whole "Your," "You're" thing isn't that difficult, but I can't recall the title.

No, "The Underdwellers" was about the homeless kids.

Paul Dini claims that this is the one episode of the show he would like to forget. That's surprising. I thought this episode was excellent.

It looks like "Your" wrong sometimes too.
Yeah, I was wrong. "The Forgotten" was about homeless adults. Can't see how I ever got the two confused. :p

It occurs to me that you may be leaping to conclusions. Isn't it possible that the person who started this thread actually means his username to convey the meaning "I am 'Your Very Silly' (whatever)" instead of meaning it to say "You Are Very Silly"?

Yeah I knew exactly what he was talking about but didn't know the name of the episode. Classic one.

I thought it was good, but that's because TAS is great in general and there's really not a bad episode. The Forgotten did have a few things that bothered me, like Alfred bumbling around in the Batplane. I know it was just for comic relief, but I feel that scene is out of place. Another thing was Bruce revealing himself as Bruce Wayne to the two men he befriended at the compound. I feel that either of them could have easily made a connection between Bruce and Batman.

Thanks guys, just youtubed the forgotten, remembered it from when I was a kid, you see, always wanted to find it again. Great episode!
And yes, yourverysilly is bad grammar (though thankyou to those that backed me up, I'll just pretend from now on that your was the spelling I meant to put down!) but, It was a mistake I made when I was young and stupid, put it as my email, decided to have it as everything that I do on the net to simplify things yada yada yada so now my imprint on the world wide web is also one of very bad grammar.
ce la vie.

a great episode. i can see given dini's later work that he was more comfortable with the rogue's gallery, but the first season of Batman had a great film noir effect, and also was socially conscious. A lot of Batman's enemies, such as Daggett and the slavemaster in "the Forgotten" were exploiters rather than charismatic criminal masterminds.
The episode wouldn't have worked as well without the music. A solid effort.
