Who do you think Storm should be with?

Force. No, contest really.
T'Challa was so shoe-horned into her backstory that it practically beggars belief.

Myself, I always liked her with Forge. Though the Storm/Wolverine relationship was developing nicely.

Although, Yukio was a good relationship for her too.

Forge all the way. One of the only relationships I've really liked Claremont's from Claremont. They had this....poise to them that no other Marvel couple has really conveyed to me. I mean, a shaman and a self proclaimed goddess of nature....they totally had this whole wise, guiding hand, Mama and Papa X-Man feel to them....whatever, cant really describe it.
As much as I loved Lobdell's work just for his use of Iceman, I was very displeased by the way he broke up Forge and Storm. And if Im totally remembering wrong and it wasnt Lobdell, then I stand corrected and Lobdell still rocks for his use of Iceman.
Whatever, it was probably Wanda's fault anyways.

None of the above.
I could see her with a human or Callisto. I think relationships within the X-Men would too commonly overpower the characters' themselves or just not be interesting. Or all of the above.

I bet that every time an X-Woman gets needy, they just knock on Logan's door.
Why? Isn't he sorta the ugliest X-Man? After Beast and Nightcrawler, that is.
Well, if he looked like Hugh I'd be knocking on his door too. Ugly or not, I do bet he's a wild sex machine, though.
Anyway....
Storm's marriage with Black Panther is a sad way of making Storm interact with the MU more, and the whole relationship was forcefully shove down our throats. So, I hate it entirely.
I never even knew about the Bishop and Nightcrawler relationship she had so I won't say anything about that. I do, however, know that she had a romantic relationship with Beast in the "Ultimate" version.
I really liked her relationship with Wolverine, cuz, even though he doesn't LOOK the part (short beastly animal/man hooked up with a goddess/woman), their social interaction is what made it interesting and satisfying. Wolverine loves helping ladies in destress, so whenever Storm was knocked down or something, he was there to attend her all sweetly. And Wolvie is also like this sort of wild animal and Storm was always there to "tame" him and sweet-talk him down and stuff. In other words, it wasn't just your average love affair. They had special ways of being a lovable and interesting couple.
It was an excellent relationship, but Wolvie is just physically unfitting for her.
And I never liked her relationship with Forge. I respected it, but it never exciting me or even intruiged me in anyway fun way.
Although I doubt it'll happen, I hope Storm and BP get divorced soon.

I voted Black Panther because beyond the current writer these two could make a great match if handled correctly they always had a lot in common and i think it is a great fit. I was a fan of forge in the early stages of their relationship but i agree with storm in that their relationship ran its course. Most relationships dont last forever and i think she and forge just reached that point where they care for each other but its not love anymore.
In another time i would have voted bishop but i think he has changed too much to really be a good match for storm. They really have nothing in common to work from...
Never a storm wolvie fan

Does anyone remember #289 and #290 when Forge proposed? That was such a well-written story I thought, and it prompted me to read all about the back issues of their love. Not to mention they had a really great scene at Multiple Man's funeral. Storm and Forge forever!

Logan's not the prettiest X-Man, but he gets the girl quite often.
And please, Beast (Apeman) used to get girls all the time. He's had some pretty major relationships over the years, including with Dazzler. Before he turned into the angtsy putty cat, girls were always after him.

Kurt's no slouch with the ladies either. Though not as wild as Beast.

Storm and Yukio, easily. Although she and Forge belong with each other as very boring characters.:p
But, if it wasn't rushed, forced, coming out of nowhere, and written by Hudlin, i think that her and Black Panther would make a good couple.

I wish the relationship between Storm and Cable was allowed to continue. That was beginning to be really interesting. Nathan had asked Ororo out on a date, and then after Weinberg left Cable, nothing was ever said about it.

Yeah but on several occasions, especially the Assault on Weapon X arc of Morrison's run and another occasion I can remember where he's naked on the blackbird, I get the impression that despite only being 5' 3 in height, Wolverine would not be out of place with the nickname "Tripod"...

Forge. Life/Death was one of the best stories ever told in X-men lore.
Forge
Chris Claremont's Uncanny X-Men #186 "LifeDeath" made the reader convinced Ororo develops a true love for Forge in this single issue; it also encapsulates her hatred for him since he designed the gun that removes her powers.
Uncanny X-Men #186 has done what multiple issues of Black Panther & a Storm & Black Panther limited series cannot do: write a convincing love story.
Wolverine & Nightcrawler have potential, but it still only potential.
I never read any romantic feelings Storm possessed for Bishop; therefore, he's out of the question.

I liked her best with Logan. The offset each other very well. Storm is also one of the very few women I think could keep up with Logan's adventurous lifestyle (unlike Jean who would probably want to settle down in the suburbs).
Black panther? Blergh. After reading storm saying:"I'm sorry my king it's not my place to question you" or something to that extend i felt like throwing up.
Forge was good and there was true love but in the end it just didn't work out and going back to that would be a mistake in my opinon though i'm pretty sure Forge still would get together with her if given the chance.
Nightcrawler, hrm .. interesting but i think he should be with Marvel Girl.
I'd say wolverine, i really enjoyed the budding romance between two old friends. Deep down they have a lot in common except that storm has a reserved demeanor whereas wolverine does not. Storm can keep up with logan's gruff personality more than anyone while he has a deep respect for Ororo.

Forge was going to get romantically involved with Raven Darholme, Mystique at some point had Chris Claremont not left Uncanny X-Men & X-Men in 1991. Destiny foreshadows this when she mentions Mystique should really get to know Forge better since storm's alway change direction in Uncanny X-Men #254-255.

I know. I don't see what's the relevance is to Forge's preference though.
I don't recall Forge having an outspoken attraction to Mystique that even came close to his feelings for storm.

At the time he did not. This is a subplot Claremont would have developed in the long term begun in Uncanny X-Men #254-255.

Black panther throws equality for women some 200 years backward all by himself. The only reason Storm and T'challa are together is because they are both black. It's about the only thing they have in common.

Beast - Can of Worms indeed.
I was about to write up a huge summary as to why BP and Storm work as a couple if not the best coupling ever (between the two), but its largely based on observations and the lack exposure within Storm's canical history. (Once you're a member of a X-Team or series its like you're cut off from the rest of the world, you can't see people outside the X-House or they die!)
I don't even want to talk about this now, mostly because it will eventually lead me to a bad place. :p (Social Science talking about you.)
