I had way too much time on my hands tonight, and rather than watching Dancing with the Stars (ew), I created Beverly Hills 9021X, with my dream team of x-men. I'm such a tool, lol :p

I love your Buffy/Xmen lineup! Buffy's totally Rogue, and Xander is without a doubt Iceman. And let's just leave lame Dawn out, lol, and replace her with Tara as Destiny. Mystique and Destiny were the Willow and Tara of comics, and both Irene and Tara got the early sendoff :). God I miss that show :(

Amanda, the bitchy bleach blonde lead character - Emma Frost, the bitchy bleach blonde lead character. Perfect start, right?

Peter, Amanda's on-and-off again lover who's also a doctor with questionable morals - Cyclops, only because he's Amanda's main love interest, and his lead character status.

Alison, the neurotic recovering alcoholic, always unlucky in love - Dazzler, always unlucky with writers and artists, she could easily fill Alison's melodramatic outbursts.

Billy, dumb and makes bad hair choices, on-and-off again relationship with Alison - Longshot, fills all 3 prequisites.

Jo, the tough chick from New York who has to deal with stolen baby subplots and that fact that almost all her love interests end up dead - Polaris, goes crazy at weddings and yet doesn't take sh!t from anyone, except when she's brainwashed of course. Two of my favorite characters!

Jake, the token hot guy on the show who's moody and macho, and kinda a manwhore; soulmates with Jo! - Havok, fits all those requirements too! And again, I love both these characters.

Jane, the resident doormat who gets constantly shat on until she gets raped and starts stalking people and burning down houses! - Jean Grey, known for playing with fire and just like Jane, was cheated on by her lousy husband.

Michael, another manwhore who married/slept with everyone on the show, and also happens to be an extremely amoral doctor - Professor X, the dirty old pervert!

Sydney, an ambitious, spunky ex-prostitute and sister to Jane, who loved blackmail schemes but always ended up way over her head - Psylocke, close enough to a stripper, but still pretty badass. Two other favorite characters of mine!

Matt, the token gay guy who's not allowed to have kissing scenes, and never gets any good storylines - Iceman, clearly gay and hasn't done anything in Carey's book yet.

Kimberley, ah yes, the resident psychopath who once blew up the apartment complex with the intent of wiping out everyone there - Scarlet Witch, tried to erase mutants from existence but failed, just like Kim! Also clearly insane.

I chose to match up Remy and Kelso because I think there characteristics match up better in my opinoin than Remy and Hyde. Kelso in the show was much more of a lover than a fighter, he was also tall which is how I picture Remy. AWESOME! Watching Rogue as Ali's assistant would be VERY interesting, lol, and a nice angsty approach to their relationship. Imagine the dramedy!!!

Okay, mine is for LOST. Not all are accurate, and trust me, I like some of the characters in X-Men more than their LOST counterpart and vice versa, and some of the relations don't make sense, but I tried to do it as best I could.

Jack: Cyclops [Leader; kind of a cry baby heh]
Kate: Jean Grey [Main Female protagonist; one's always in trouble, one's always dying]
Sawyer: Wolverine [Relative jackass; both in a love triangle with above two]
Sayid: Beast [Both smart and stuff of that sort] (I almost put Nightcrawler for Sayid but.. nah.)
Locke: Can't decide to be honest. Somebody want to help me with him?
Sun: Storm [They just remind me of each other to be honest]
Jin: Again, any help?
Claire: Shadowcat [Again, just kind of remind me of each other for some reason. Both sweethearts with the occasional sarcastic comment.]

from the first episode, I thought:

Starbuck= Logan. (hot, temper issues, cocky, best at what she does)

Lee= Cyclops (He is *so* cyke. uptight, great jawline, born leader, repressed. yeah, i get the implication... but it goes along with the gender-switched relationships already done from the old series. besides, you've got to admit, if Logan were a girl he and Cyke would have all sorts of sexual tension going. they have "opposites attract" written all over them)

Zak: Havok (obvious brother reasons)

Adama= Prof X, of course. (father to cyke, got skeletons in his closet etc)

President Roslyn: Lilandra (leader of another group separate from Professor X, romantic interest in the Professor, feathery hair..)

Chief Tyrol: Beast (always works for the team tirelessly, is used as a plot device to fix problems kinda thanklessly)

Lindsay Weir (Shadowcat) –entering the fray a mixed up precocious youth, and leaving it (for a bit anyway) forever changed as a still mixed up, but far more convicted and wise-beyond-her-years Holden Caulfield type grounded adolescent. Possesses a penchant for being outspoken and coveted by those around her.
Sam Weir (Cyclops) –he crushes on the “it” girl, and seems to have a big influence on those around him. He’s likely more powerful than realizes. He may be “slim,” but he’s pretty strong.
Cindy Sanders (M) –the girl who seems to have it all, but underneath the veneer is really not so perfect, and sometimes downright the bitch. She comes with a big family and lots of baggage (also possesses a perfectionist streak).
Maureen Sampson (Rogue) –the new girl at school who’s gorgeous, friendly, and untouchable in a “so close, yet so far away” manner.
Barry Schweiber (Gambit) –the smooth-talking older guy who may flip you off if he doesn’t like you, and charm you if he does. He often ignores problems (in the present and the past), and lets other people deal with them instead.
Daniel Desario (Madrox) –the charismatic rebel who finds many options open to him (even if he doesn’t make the best decisions with them). He finds himself internally conflicted over his life and identity at times.
Bill Haverchuck (Xavier)-the disarming glue that holds the team together. He’s blessed with keen mind powers and awkward social skills. Sometimes jealous and often quirky there’s more to meet the eye in Bill (who seems the real heart of the show at times). Plus, he’s quite the ladies’ man.
Coach Fredericks (Colossus) –the strong silent type who underneath is more sensitive than he appears. He really wants the best for everyone, even if he doesn’t show it. He opens himself up to people under the right circumstances for him, and when people get to know him they find it difficult not to like him.
Vicki Appleby (Amelia Vought) –pretty, possessive and quite the bitch, but she has a secret thing for geeky guys and likely values men more for their minds than anything else.
Gloria Haverchuck (Storm) –beautiful and passionate. Some may question her decisions and romantic choices, but she doesn’t really, and she enjoys her life.
Nick Andopolis (Havok) –sometimes plays second fiddle to others in his life and constantly devotes himself to relationships, sometimes just for the sake of being in a relationship. He owns his actions, however, and has a lot of potential lying around waiting for someone to help mold it.
Neal Schweiber (Iceman) –the seemingly eternal youth who’s the least likely to mature amongst his acquaintances. He’s filled to the brim with bad jokes and inexperience, but over time learns to stand by his friends and finds he fosters a deep care for his family (even when he does not really want to). Also, possesses a terrible luck with the ladies and many an unrequited crush.
Mrs. Schweiber (Lilandra) –married to her life “responsibilities” rather than her lover. She shows flickering promise that one day she’ll be happier.
Dr. Vic Schweiber (Empath) –wise, and sometimes seems likable, but he’s really quite wicked and selfish at times. Also, lies for his own benefit and aims to manipulate.
Dr. Schweiber’s Mistress (Aleytys Forrester) –pretty blond with little known about her history, except that she likes relationships with men.
Kim Kelly (Emma Frost) – the former bad blond who has mostly cleaned up her notorious ways. She’s an infamous hardass with a bad reputation, but her bark is worse than her bite. She always follows her own intuition and has an influence over her friend’s minds. She has big heart, and a dysfunctional family that would rival most others.
Mrs. Jean Weir (Moira MacTaggert)-compassionate, cozy, caretaker who will play mom to those who need it. She really cares for people.
Cookie Kelly (Mystique) –seemingly sane and crazy at the same time. She cares for her daughter, but likely would be the first suspect in a homicide.
Kim’s Stepdad (Avalanche) –a bad guy who’s motives and history largely remain an enigma.
Todd Schellinger (Angel) – the good-looking guy that seems to have it all going for him, yet still envies others for their spunk, possessions and character over his own.
Karen Scarfolli (Selene) –mean, cruel-spirited, powerful and beautiful pain in the ass.
Jenna Zank (Boomer/Meltdown) –blond, punk rebel with a penchant for tunes, bubble-gum, and changing up her image. Also likes to flirt around and have fun.
Mr. Jeff Rosso (Magneto) –part of you doesn’t like him, but the other part is drawn to him. Part of you thinks he’s really wrong, but you know there’s nuggets of truth and rightness in what he says. Regardless of how it comes across he just wants the betterment of his species.
Amy Andrews (Marrow-sometimes she puts people off, but doesn’t make excuses for who she is.
Ken Miller (Wolverine-would rather see action than dialogue, and would rather drink some beer than do some heavy thinking.
Mr. Harold Weir (Vulcan)-stuck in his convictions and often angry.

Harris Trinsky (Nightcrawler) –wise, affable and likable. He feels outcasted by his looks and yet comfortable with whom he is. Also, plays quite the tactician and manages to swoon some ladies.
Mr. Fleck (Cerebra) –into technology and rather lame, even though he tries to seem hip.
Howie Gelfand (Mastermind) –into manipulation and image.
Miss Foote (Gabrielle Haller) –active in the community and passionate.
Mr. Andropolis (Gamemaster) –powerful and hard to defeat if your ideas don’t match his.

Despite Chris and Luke looking like Cyclops and Wolverine, I think personality and dynamic it's quite the opposite, since Chris can't seem to stick around and Luke is the stable constant.

Since most other shows I watch have been taken I'll try my hand at an HBO one, so I'm going with: SiX Feet Under.

[I'm going with generally Ultimate incarnations, my knowledge and my ideas of the UXM are far more vivid than those of the 616 X-Men.]

Nathaniel, Snr. as Professor X: the patriach role that has such a complex relationship with the other X-Men to the point of codependency and dysfunctionality, his absence causing them to become all over the place.

Ruth as Emma Frost (pre-Kirkman): takes an extremely passive approach, can have their little spouts of mild anger, but ultimately they are just trying to get by while standing in the background.

Nate, Jnr. as Cyclops: the golden child, the prodigal son, both have issues to do with where they really want to be in life, they are both unsure and secure at times but tend to take domineering roles when they do step up.

David as Colossus: insecure, in-the-closet then out characters who provide a very neutral or utilitarian logic to their show/team but comes with a bunch of skeletons in the closet (no pun intended).

Claire as Dazzler: the gothy one trying to find her place and while showing signs of more personality and a more multi-faceted personality still one that shies away and only lets glimmers of light through.

Keith as Bishop: seems too easy, both black cops, but both come with their authoritarian attitudes and their trends towards more masculine, aggressive approaches.

Brenda as Jean Grey: strong of will half the time, a little demented but a quick 180 turn makes each characters into an emotional basketcase, quick shifts between self-reliant and codependent and more personal torment than the rest.

Rico as Sunspot: again this seems more racially based but both seem to connect their identities through their races as well as having that fire (no pun intended, again) about them when their ideologies or passions are compromised.

Billy as Proteus: the crazed son of Prof. X and Moira, the bipolar son of shrinks, absolute basketcases but with their own personal reasons.
